This hotel was recently featured in “Garden & Gun” magazine and a photographer friend of mine had also just been there for a wedding. My daughter and I came to visit a college and I really wanted to stay here even though the price was a little high. Long story short-we stayed the first tonight of our trip in a very mediocre hotel and the next morning we checked out and came to Hotel Bardo. I called at the very last minute and they literally vent over backwards to get us in a room with two beds, overlooking the park and we were able to check in early. The grounds are seriously intoxicating. Every where you look is like Candy for the eyes. The hospitality at the hotel was unbelievable. From the second we walked up we were greeted “welcome home” The bedding, towels and toiletries in the bathroom are all top notch. It would be hard for me to ever stay somewhere else in Savannah! Hotel Bardo please don’t change!!!

A beautiful centrally located new modern hotel. Very friendly staff, very concerned about the guest. Rooms were very clean and spacious. When we come back to Savannah, certainly back to the Bardo. There is a swab in the rating because: it was an event over our weekend in the city and the hotel restaurant was fully booked, also because it is fully open for non-hotel guests. We didn’t get a place in the main restaurant for the entire stay of 3 days.

Dear Valentin_0258, Thank you for sharing with us your experience at Hotel Bardo! It's heartening to hear that you encountered such warmth and attentiveness from our team members and that the accommodations were both pristine and spacious. Regarding your feedback about the restaurant experience, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you encountered due to the event and the high demand from non-hotel guests. We understand how important it is for our guests to have access to dining facilities during their stay, and we regret that we were unable to accommodate you in Saint Bibiana throughout your visit. We hope that despite this issue, you'll consider returning to the Hotel Bardo for your future visits to Savannah. Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon! Kind regards, The Hotel Bardo Team

Did not stay at hotel but the Valet, Cole, that parked my car for me to attend my Grandson’s final concert in Forsyth Park, directly across from the hotel and across from a 2 lane one way VERY BUSY STREET…..the nicest young man…..he unloaded my little wagon, loaded the items in it and literally walked me to the park to make sure i got they ok. I am 80 years old and can do all this myself but lifting is an issue. Wow. What a nice young man and even my encounter returning he and couple others of which i did not get names made sure all my items were in the car and directed me back into the traffic. Compliments to all the young men parking cars but my special thanks to Cole.

We were excited to stay for 5 nights and booked a one bedroom suite, the floor plan of which was quite specific with a separate bed and lounge area. On arrival, equivalent rooms were unavailable and a series of alternatives were presented, none of which matched the expectations that had been set. The staff promised to find a solution, but ultimately presented the original room, so the booking was cancelled and we found another 5* hotel nearby. The staff were quite pleasant but their ability to problem solve and resolve the issue was unsatisfactory.

It felt like a bait and switch. Do not assume that what they are selling is what you will get and certainly don’t assume the pictures or floor plans will be similar to what is presented. They admitted that there is a problem with the visuals not matching the actuals. Buyers beware.

The sad part is that the decor and environment is beautiful, but service standards and accuracy is way off what you should expect at the price point.

Dear Lpw1134, We sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced during your recent stay with us. We regret that we could not provide the specific room you had booked and that our attempts to find alternatives fell short of resolving the issue. Your feedback regarding the discrepancies between our advertised visuals and the actual accommodations is invaluable to us, and we are addressing this discrepancy to prevent similar occurrences in the future. While we understand your decision to seek alternative accommodations, we hope you'll consider giving us another chance to exceed your expectations in the future. Please contact me directly, and we will do our utmost to make your next stay with us a truly exceptional one. Warm regards, Dhruv Khanna General Manager dhruv@staybardo.com

Hotel Bardo was truly the best way to experience Savannah. My wife and I were able to grab a tremendous breakfast before exploring the area all day, then come back relax by the pool and enjoy an amazing dinner at Saint Bibiana.
Overall it encompasses the best parts of Savannah and the staff is truly amazing.
24 hrs doesn't matter they were always welcoming and beyond kind. Highly recommend.

Stunning. We stopped in for a drink and fell so in love with the beauty we extended our Savannah trip and booked 2 extra nights here. Newly renovated and very well done. The staff were absolute gems, especially Richard, who drove us anywhere we wanted to go and made every car ride a 5 star experience.

This was not a "hotel stay." This was an Experience! EVERY staff member we encountered went above and beyond! The front desk staff, KAY AND JASMINE, were, no question, the SWEETEST young ladies... They were professional, knowledgeable, and I looked forward to seeing their smiling faces wherever we came in or out. The room was beautiful, bed was really comfortable. Please get a room overlooking the pool! I was there for a corporate function and the breakfast, as well as the banquet meal were delicious. The valet attendants were also amazing! It was pouring when we checked out but they kept a smile and the level of courtesy never changed. Cannot say enough... We'll definitely return to Savannah and don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else.
