We were very lucky to secure a room here. The location is perfect for walking to the riverfront or around historic Savannah. Breakfast is excellent and the innkeepers provide a nice happy hour with wine and cheese/fruit at 5 pm. The innkeepers live on site which makes it easy to ask questions and get to know Savannah from their perspectives. Rooms are large and very nicely appointed. I would definitely stay here again but be advised you need to book early.

Our stay at The Inn on West Liberty was phenomenal. The Inn is clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The renovations on this building are gorgeous. The sisters are extremely attentive and make your stay wonderful. The bed is so comfortable, the breakfast was always delicious, and the sisters were fun to talk to and very helpful. They pay attention to every detail of what can make for an amazing stay for guests. The Inn is also very conveniently located, walkable to everything. We will definitely stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying at this elegant and lovely Select Registry B&B on our way to Sarasota. We spent 3 nights. The innkeepers were friendly and courteous. Since the Inn is ranked as a Select Registry property, we feel it appropriate to list the pros and perceived cons compared to other B&B 's in Savannah where we have stayed. We have frequented many B&B's in Savannah and have had many experiences. We frequent B&B's, especially in Savannah, because we greatly enjoy the social interaction with other guests. Having said that, we found this B&B a bit on the stuffy side. Accessing the afternoon and evening opportunities to socialize with other guests were simply not perceived as user friendly and seemed more like after thoughts. As a result, we did not participate in any of them. The seating arraignment for breakfast did not seem to lend itself to social interaction. We found ourselves talking at a "whisper" with each other ...again ...not perceived to be conducive to social interaction. There was no specific time to come to breakfast assigned to us ...only a breakfast time period. Our coffee and our entrees tended to be not as hot as we would have liked, although the entrees were creative and tasty. The facility was exceptionally well improved and maintained, although we spent some time trying to get the jet tub in our bath to operate only to be told at checkout that it had been intentionally disabled and simply was unavailable for use. The parking was on premise and was free ...a real bonus. The WiFi was exceptional and free. The mattress was firm, and the building was remarkably quiet for a great nights sleep, although for some reason, the air conditioning did not run until our final night, and no explanation was provided. The building offers a residential elevator that is greatly needed since the building has four floors plus ground, and is definitely needed to transport luggage and passengers who cannot navigate all the stairs. All in all we would say we had a good time ...but not a great time. We simply are more used to greater accessibility for welcome social interaction ...and for some reason our experience simply did not flow the way we had anticipated. In all fairness Barbie battled a short illness that did interfere with some of our stay. So ...in conclusion ...although our experience was mixed, and our review may seem to be too critical, we are providing a 5 star rating since our perceptions should not be taken as gospel ...but rather as a form of offering suggestions to further advance this B&B's ability to be absolutely top rate. We traveled to Savannah over the New Year holiday for a couples trip with my sister and her husband. My husband and I stayed in the Wright Square room, a spacious and classy room up one set of stairs from the main floor. Though the inn does have rooms available at varying price points, the Wright Square was worth every penny. This room had a balcony with 4 chairs, so the other couple could walk down from their room (they booked Lafayette Square: a bit smaller than Wright Square and with 2 chairs on the balcony) and we could chat, enjoy happy hour, or play a board game. Would absolutely recommend one of the rooms with a balcony - this let us enjoy the wonderful weather and the beautiful views. The balcony had ceiling fans for the warmer months. Suzy and Patty were wonderful hosts, welcoming and helpful but happy to give us space to reconnect with family we hadn’t seen in a while. The wine and cheese happy hour each evening was a fabulous excuse to enjoy the patio and unwind after a busy day. Breakfast was delicious and filling every day - the daily menu alternates between sweet and savory and always started with fresh fruit, coffee/tea, and water or juice. The location of the inn was perfect- away from the most touristy parts of town, but an easy walk to any great restaurant we might want to try, as well as River Street, Forsyth Park, and all of the famed squares Savannah is so well known for. We had a wonderful refreshing trip full of quality time together (and so much amazing food). Next time we visit Savannah we will absolutely stay at the Inn on West Liberty again!

We just spent 2 nights at the Inn! It was a most wonderful experience! It was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season! The innkeepers, Suzy and Patty, were most welcoming to their beautiful Inn! Our accommodations were plush! The bed and pillows were so comfortable! There were fresh flowers and yummy chocolate chip cookies in our room! Our hot breakfasts each morning were delicious! One afternoon returning cold and wet from an outing, Patty and Suzy rushed to make us hot beverages to warm us up! We loved our stay and hope to return! Merry Christmas, Suzy and Patty! Y’all are the BEST!

My family and our pup stayed in the Pulaski Square Cottage which offered a little more privacy and room to spread out! The home is immaculate and has been remodeled beautifully. We loved the late afternoon wine and snack sessions and chatting with Patty and Suzy. Everything was in walking distance and there are several great places within a few blocks to get food. Of course, don't go anywhere else for breakfast, we were treated to wonderful plates each morning and they accommodated our request for hot chocolate in place of coffee. I only wish I had asked to peek into some of the home's guest rooms that were not occupied.

The Good: The place is very clean and decorated magnificently. I enjoyed staying in the Monterey Square room; the bed was comfortable and there was a little stair to make it easier to climb up onto it. The ceiling fan provided adequate cooling. The establishment is close to many things you would want to see in Savannah. The breakfast was excellent and the person bringing it to us delightful. The Bad: My friend had the Lafayette Square room, which had an HVAC system throbbing all night. Even the noise of his CPAP machine and earplugs could not drown it out. The balcony is great but we feel like this particular room should come with a warning, or a much-reduced rate. The Ugly: We are early risers and would have really appreciated the ability to either make coffee in the room, or have it available downstairs. We were told that the coffee would be ready at 7 am, so we were there and waiting. This turned out to be only an estimate, so we went out and bought it elsewhere. Also, the next morning there seemed to be a rather begrudging attitude in a remark about my friend having used all the creamer he was given. We strongly agree with the reviewer who said she did not feel welcome. We have stayed in many fine bed-and-breakfasts over the decades and for all of this one's good qualities, we would, for that reason, not recommend it.

A really beautiful property right in the historic district. Our hosts, Suzy and Patti, were fantastic and knowledgeable about all things in Savannah. Our room (Orleans) was gorgeous and the breakfasts and afternoon gatherings superb. Have already recommended this Inn to many of our friends.
