Very nice hotel. The location is perfect for us as it is 1/2 way for our trip from Virginia to Florida. Great location for traveling along I95. Less than 1/2 mile off the interstate. Added plus is the bar lounge/restaurant in the hotel. Room was nice and had plenty of room. Noted downsides. Pillow were not very fluffy and were small. A more distressing thing is one of the pillows on the bed smell of cigarette smoke. All in all a nice hotel and great stopping point while traveling along I95.
This hotel was clean and quiet. The room was clean, the air conditioning was cold, and plenty of room for four of us. Checking in and checking out were easy. We had breakfast here, and there were several good choices on the menu. Well lit parking.
Average for a Doubletree. Clean but outdated. Breakfast options were pretty limited. Service was friendly. Close to lots of restaurants, but very congested area. It was OK, but I’ll go with the Garden Inn on my next trip.
Very lovely lobby & cafe area. Stacked stone fireplace and beautiful seating area. Nice front desk people and food services. Air conditioner did not work but the room was clean. Comfortable, nice decor
The lady at the front desk, don't quote me on her name but thinking Whitney makes the stay more comfortable. She has helped me on several stays. The first couple had the old remote, she helped me have the new remote so I could change the inputs on the TV. This recent stay the keys wouldn't work on my door. She tried to reprogram but ultimately took the machine to let me in personally each time until the door lock worked on its own. She is always very friendly and remembers who you are. Great job by her!
The hotel is a bit outdated, but I overheard renovations are coming soon. I was NOT happy that I got a 1st floor room, but the manager nicely explained all the other rooms were taken. She then walked me to my room to make sure I was satisfied with it. I greatly appreciated that. She was very friendly, and accomodating. Everyone I Interated with was incredibly nice, which makes the whole experience better. And the dinner (salmon) was excellent. All in all, I was impressed, and I'll be back.
I was super impressed with the staff and the airport shuttle service. There is a bar and restaurant. Breakfast is not complementary, but it was good and served quickly. Depending on your loyalty level with Hilton, you may get a food credit to offset the price. The shuttle service was fast, punctual and the drivers courteous and friendly. It’s a five minute straight shot to the airport. And yes, they still have those famous chocolate chip cookies. I am not necessarily brand loyal, but I am property loyal and I would gladly return.
Great rates, clean room, very good restaurant and very convenient to the Savannah Airport! All the staff were very kind and helpful! I want to mention 3 staff members who went out of their way to assist and help me - Katlin, front office manager, Mindy, server and C.C., front office manager. All were a pleasure to work with!
The room was nice with a decent view and plenty of space. I booked this room for a family of 5, the linens for the pull out bed were not already provided, and we only had 2 towels, so we had to ask for more of all of that. The “indoor” pool was only separated from the outside by screens, so really it’s an outdoor pool with covering and the heating element in the pool was broken. I understand that things happen beyond their control but this information should be communicated with guests. Also we found a soda bottle and candy trash (all not belonging to us) around the room. There was an unpleasant smell when first walking in the room and we think it is from the constant wet floor spot next to the mini fridge. We did eat at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was delicious! However the table we sat at was broken and we almost lost all of our food in the floor a few times. Overall the hotel was nice and gave us what we needed but there’s definitely some maintenance problems that need to be taken care of, as this hotel was under Hilton level expectations…
Great rooms, great service. Check out is noon! Right if the interstate. Lots of food options close by. They have a bar on site, but I'm not aware of the hours. I believe there are also times they serve food, but again, not sure of menu out hours.
