The Kehoe house is the most amazing Bed and Breakfast we have found to date. The house is beautiful, perfect location, the staff is extremely hospitable and friendly. They also offer a nightly wine reception, dessert and custom ordered breakfast, which is an excellent and enjoyable experience. Each room has historic and unique furnishings and the beds are very comfortable. They offer free parking, which seems unheard of in Savannah. So if you consider the free parking, free wine and hors d’oeuvre reception, dessert reception, chef prepared custom ordered breakfast with mimosas (if you want one), the price isn’t really that much more than a chain hotel that doesn’t offer any of these unique amenities. Next time you visit Savannah, give The Kehoe House a try, this historic and elegant Bed and Breakfast will most likely become your favorite place in Savannah as well!…
We were fortunate to spend 3 nights at this beautiful old home, turned B and B in downtown Savannah. From arrival to departure the staff does everything to make your stay the best possible experience. The house is beautifully decorated. The rooms are comfortable with the finest linens. Breakfast is chef prepared with gourmet options to choose from and each day ends with hors d'oeuvres, wine and dessert. Off street parking is provided and the location is perfect for exploring Savannah. Kehoe house is highly recommended for a romantic getaway.
We can’t say enough wonderful things about this very special historic inn in Savannah. The location is perfect for walking to many great restaurants & historic sites. The staff are truly incredible. From the moment we arrived until when we left at 4:30 am to catch a flight, every single person we interacted with was so helpful & accommodating. Kiki was our chef for breakfast each day & her talent to make so many lovely made to order breakfasts, is truly a gift. What a special place we hope to visit again.
The location of Kebob House is perfect! The B&B exceeded our expectations! Our innkeeper, Jennifer was incredible! We experienced “Southern hospitality” through her kindness, friendliness and willingness to serve!
We will be back. After I mentioned that it was my birthday, we found a bottle of cold champagne in our room. We loved the communal breakfast and later, desserts. We learned a lot from the other guests, and had a good time talking together.
The city of Savannah was lovely, we enjoyed all the history. We really enjoyed our tour to Bonaventure cemetery and learning of all its' history. Also took in as many of the historical sites that we were able to in the historical district. The Kehoe House accommodations were very lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to a day of touring! Every day we looked forward to 5PM for wine and appetizers, not to mention dessert after our dinner out. We hope to return another time, preferably in the spring to see everything in bloom and at which time we will be sure to stay at the Kehoe House!
The Kehoe is absolutely beautiful and located in the heart of Savannah’s historic district. The staff are welcoming, generous and amazingly helpful. Chef Terre provides a wonderful breakfast along with happy hour appetizers. All of the staff are there to serve and make your stay comfortable, yet at the same time they treat you like family. I definitely would stay again and recommend to anyone that is looking for a truly lovely small hotel with an elevated level of service generally found in much larger luxury hotels.
Our Kehoe House was a delightful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The different servings from the kitchen throughout the day were a real treat. Love the ambiance of this place and the location was perfect. What a wonderful way to be introduced to the city of Savannah
An unforgettable getaway filled with an incredible staff that enjoys pampering their guests 24/7! Greeted with a glass of champagne and tour of the home while our luggage was taken to our room for us , we were able to spend quality time with old friends we had not seen in quite a while. Happy hour and hors doevres soon followed as well as a late night dessert in the Parlor after returning from dinner. The house itself is elegant, historic and wonderfully located. A true taste of Savannah’s unique Southern charm. You will not forget it!
On our arrival- Ashley and her co-worker came out and unloaded the car for us. Everything was delivered to our room while we checked in and selected our breakfast items for the next morning. We were immediately welcomed with drinks, and made to feel right at home. The food here is delicious! Breakfasts are huge, the hors d'oeuvres with drinks at 5pm were amazing, and the late-evening desserts were tantalizing. After touring the house, we headed out to explore. This choice is PERFECT for exploring the entire historical part of Savannah! A quick walk down to the riverfront, or to the surrounding squares (which are all totally different and equally charming) took mere minutes. Once you know that Abercorn pretty much hits every square, and that Oglethorpe is a major street, you get your bearings of the grid blocks, Take the Old Savannah Trolley Tour in it's entirety first, then decide where you want to hop on and off all day. Our driver, Cyndi was so informative of the history of every spot we saw, including where Forrest Gump sat on the park-bench in Chippewa Square, to where Julia Roberts had a fight with Dennis Quaid in the movie "Something to Talk About" in Six Pence Pub on Bull Street. We loved the Genteel & Bard Historical Ghost Tour! TC tells you all the authentic history of each place and it's a fun 2 hour walk in the dark! We also enjoyed the Paranormal Ghost Finding at the Savannah Theater! Now there...we encountered several ghosts. One even said my name. That was creepy and thrilling! Michah and Ann Marie were great setting us up with all the equipment and turning us loose! Do it!!…
