Stopped here overnight on our way to Florida. The room was relatively clean but there were issues with missing drain stoppers in the sink and bathtub. The drain stopper for the bathtub was located on the side of the tub as the drain was clogged with hair. The tub itself did not have a grip surface so one needed to be careful while using it.
The bed was very comfortable but had standard sized pillows instead of king sized..and it was a king sized bed. We had enough cups and towels to make the stay comfortable. The rest of the room was clean and ready for occupancy.
The 24 hour coffee service and breakfast were appreciated.
This hotel is being remodeled and we hope that if we stay there in the future the minor issues we mention will be a thing of the past.

The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and inviting. However, the WiFi didn't work properly (no Internet connection), the TV was misconfigured and wouldn't show local channels (and the guide didn't match what was shown). The check in was slow (10-15 minutes) due to only one employee (very apologetic) at the desk at peak checkin time (between 5 and 6 PM). And, the water pressure in the shower was very light. Finally, the phone didn't work properly either. The lack of attention to detail makes a difference.

Parking was free. And for Covid-19 safety, they have discontinued hot breakfasts for bagged, togo breakfast. The first morning it included muffins but the second morning it did not. The gym was closed but the pool was open. Our room had all hardwood flooring (no carpet) which I had not experience before. That was nice and probably aids in cleaning.

We booked one night in this hotel on our way to Savannah.

We liked the beds and pillows, we did’nt heard the road. There is a lot of restaurants and fast food around for diner.

Despite our room was pretty clean, we saw from the bathtub that the WC’s interior was dirty...
and unfortunately, people weren’t respectful : doors slapping in the morning. Etc.

Also, we tried to enjoy the pool and spa between 5 pm and 9pm but there was a noisy group of children in it. We went there after they were gone but the water wasn’t very clean (hairs in the water etc) so we didn’t stay long.

The breakfast is pretty basic and the place is quite small to fit every guest.

Despite of all that, it’s a great place to sleep.

This was sadly one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Our room was dirty, the bathroom had mold and mildew in the shower, the toilet was gross and the room smelled musty and stale. My husband and I had to find a nearby Walmart so we could get cleaning supplies and disinfectant spray for the bathroom and linens. The people next door were smoking marijuana and were playing loud music . We weren't able to rest well. Also, there should be stated within the booking process that this hotel charges an additional 100 dollar fee for incidental insurance that isn't refunded until checkout .

It is obvious to me that the GM has created a culture of customer service at Country Inn and Suites. Monisha specifically was gracious and absolutely handled anything to do with my experience in a very friendly, efficient manner. The entire staff I must say from the ones who clean rooms to the younger staff on weekends were always wearing a smile and more than willing to go out of their way if necessary. I would recommend this location to anyone who may be either staying for one night or like myself for the week. I just hope your experience provides you the opportunity to go online and complete a 5 Star Review as mine has this past week. Thanks again to Monisha for all her help.

I got there no one was at the front desk. Then carmen the front desk rep came from the back with a plate of food in her hand. No acting as if I was interrupting her meal. I proceeded to check in she was very rude and dry. I came back down to complain about the sheets she told me “ if I wanted better sheets I should pay more money and go to a better hotel. I’ll never stay here again. The place is not up to standards... very poor would not recommend

Checked in and went to room after an entire day of traveling set luggage down and went to climb in the bed pulled back the sheets found a huge blood stain on the sheets it was huge and disgusting looked around and blood was splattered all over the walls went to front desk to cancel our stay she wanted to give us another room no thank you it was bad enough the whole second floor smelled like weed no thank you then she couldn’t refund the money and booking.com isn’t sure if they could refund it either I mean are you serious? This experience was traumatizing for my daughters and the entire family. Do not stay there and do not book through booking.com!

This is the worse place I have ever stayed. Only gave it one star because you had to. No hand sanitizer, room were not dusted much less COVID cleaned. Employees did not wear mask 😷. The pool was cloudy and the hot tub smelled like something dead ☠️! No smell of chlorine only musky mold. We were never informed that the lobby and breakfast area was going to be full of boxes. I was charged for two nights when I stayed for no more that 16 hours. I was ask to pay 100.00 deposit in case I mess up the room or smoked in it….the entire floor smelled of marijuana. They definitely knew because they had to send someone around 2am to get the three to four year old that was screaming and crying trying to get into her room. The pictures they show you when your booking are not if this hotel! The phone number was disconnected so I emailed three different email address on their website. The only response I got was a lame 😒 response to a review. Don stay here they shouldn’t be aloud to operate!

I booked this place for myself and 2 adult children. We stayed 1 night. When I booked the room I liked the pictures that were shown on the website. Beige's and browns a very peaceful setting. What we got was very different. The lobby was small with many boxes that filled the areas where breakfast would have been served.
The room was painted a very depressing gray. The bedding looked old. The walls were bare, not one picture.
The bathroom was in the same depressing state. Some one had left cleaning rags hanging from the shower rod.
Don't bother booking here, find some other place to stay.

I chose this hotel because I have stayed at the Port Orange Fl location and always enjoyed my stay. However, the Savannah location on Gateway is only convenient as it is right off of i-95. When we arrived the clerk was outside smoking; there was no proper welcome. They're friends hung out at the hotel their entire shift. The sheets were dirty, the towels were dingy, and when asking for clean sheets we received another dirty pair. The shower was too dirty to use. I have never been more disappointed with a hotel stay.
