On my road trip though out the US and Canada this was the best place I stayed. The owners made me feel very comfortable and it felt like home. The Courtland Hotel was like stepping back in time, as I was shown to my room I received a history lesson about the facility it was awesome. Breakfast the next morning...

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Courtland Hotel. This is a fantastic hotel with lots of history and the location is perfect right in the heart of downtown Ft. Scott and within easy walking distance to the nearby attractions. We were in rooms 4 and 6 and it was perfect for our family of four. Room 4 is...

Fort Scott is a wonderful town and the Courtland Hotel helped with that experience. Courtland Hotel is in the perfect location as it is close to historic Ft. Scott and it's beautiful downtown scenery. If you are headed to the Fort Scott area, consider the Courtland Hotel as your number one option.

We stopped there one night . Guy greeted us very warm welcoming and friendly . Told us history about the hotel. Beds are little to small for tall people but very comfortable. In the morning you ca eat at the cafeteria downstairs. I recommend this hotel.

We loved this hotel, within walking distance of the original Ft. Scott as well as several restaurants. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable of the local history. I highly recommend this hotel. Wi-Fi was great and the fireplace is a nice touch.

Love the lobby and historic feel of the hotel. Rooms are small but if you are traveling alone or just with your spouse, they work. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Fort Scott. Great location next to a few nice restaurants and bars.

Room a little small but quaint. We had room 2. I think room 12 is a little larger with a bath tub rather than only a shower. Downtown within walking distance to some of the historic features of Fort Scott. Highlight would be the management. Frank is very helpful with whatever inquiry you may have about the city. Two restaurants...

A great place to get away for the weekend. There's nothing like having a great massage by a well trained professional in a beautifully decorated historic building, then going straight to your room and taking a nap before dinner. I highly recommend the Courtland Hotel. We've stayed here twice this year. The owners are very in touch with their customers...

This 1906 two story hotel in historic Fort Scott has been redone by the friendly, helpful owners. It boasts ornate tin ceilings, a wooden staircase, wallpapered rooms and antiques. It's a trip back to 1906 travel accommodations with modern amenities added.
