We were driving through and booked this hotel based on brand. Either we came on an off day, or there are some issues with this one holding the Marriott name. The first room we were given had a running toilet that did not flush. We moved rooms, and after checking in with our party of four into a two-queen room, found only two towels. We had to call down again. Then at breakfast, the buffet was closed, and another guest said we had to go to the Starbucks counter. The lady asked us for our breakfast card from check-in, which we didn’t have - she took our order from the menu. Then we noticed how the lobby was full of people still waiting for food. We were luckily not in a total hurry, as we waited 45 minutes. Granted, the food was good. But the poor lady at the counter and the man serving people were berated by several guests for circumstances not in their control. Obviously staffing is a problem. I wouldn’t want to be put in that position as a worker. This hotel also has very thin walls and ceilings, so every sound and step above and in the halls can be heard. The carpets in the halls also need a good steam clean. All in all, not at all what we’re used to with Marriott.…
Comfortable hotel, very clean and welcoming! The bathroom was very nice and really enjoyed the jetted tub after a long day's drive. Staff was wonderful as well and very accommodating. Highly recommend staying at this hotel!
Checked in and noticed a menu for restaurant and room service. First time I have seen this at a Homewood. I commented to the desk clerk that this was a great idea since I often arrive late evening and do not want to go out to eat. Nice rooms and great staff.
This is truly an exceptional hotel experience (from a retired couple who do way over 100 nights per year). The Homewood perfection you come to expect from this brand is in evidence every where you look: It is spotless, hallways, facilities, even the elevators. Ice machines on multiple floors. While windows do not open, the views out the large windows are very pleasant. Laundry room also clean as a whistle. The fitness room has machines, free weights , plenty of towels and a water-dispenser. It's a wee bit snug which probably explains no bench. Breakfast is a real treat: delicious egg pockets, hash browns, sausage, biscuits, gravy, oranges and bananas, water bottles, juices, 2% milk cartons, breads and bagels. Business center operational and again, very tidy. What a joy, we can't wait to return. Thank you again, GM Angie for the fabulous VIP experience.…
Very clean. Hot breakfast was good with a large variety of choices. There are several restaurants with a large variety of foods within a short distance. There is a large grocery store very close to get what you might need.
Wonderful place to stay. So accommodating and such a great staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Location was close to so many restaurants and shopping areas. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
The staff was amazing, The room was fantastic and so clean. The hotel was beautiful. We will be coming back!!! The hotel had a delicious scent coming from the Kitchen. We had our dogs with us and there is plenty of area for them to do their business!!
We had some family in to visit, we set them up in a suite. It was roomy and comfortable for all. Not too far from the elevator and easy to park near the entrance. We were quite happy with the staff as well.
I was very pleased with my stay. The staff were all very kind, and made it feel like they were doing more than “a job”. The place was very clean, and the staff were consistently cleaning common areas. The motel is at a location close to many amenities. Plenty of delivery options for food, or places to go. Overall very satisfied.
How the mighty have fallen. We’re Hilton Honors members and tend to pick Hilton properties, because of the quality of the properties, the breakfasts and yes the loyalty points. The Hotel and room were just as nice and lovely as we expected. The staff was very good. The “breakfast” wasn’t worth eating - we passed. Maybe some of the breakfast problems can be blamed on Covid protocols but it doesn’t seem that is the only reason. It looks like a cost savings move too. With the hits that hotels have taken that is somewhat understandable but when we select hotels we factor in the cost analysis whether we’ll be eating at the hotel or paying for breakfast. Seems we can’t count on Homewood Suites for breakfast now.
