This hotel is old and is going to be torn down this year to be replaced by high rise condos I believe. However, if you get a chance to stay before it closes, it is in a wonderful location along the Columbia River. Our room...More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for visiting with us while you were in the Vancouver area. We appreciate you and wish you the best. Regards, Mary Tiffany Director of Room Operations

Not the best part of town and I guess it fits in with the area. Musty smell in the room and noisy as hell. Trains and barges and an air conditioner that sounds like a jet engine. The best part is a friendly staff and...More

We only stayed 1 night but had at nice room for a great price, river view and everyone was super friendly and efficient. The only downside is that the airport is across the river in Oregon and so there is some jet noise now an...More

Missed a flight and had to wait. Very pleased with this place except for the construction out front and a bit of train noise. Ask for the river rooms and the noise will be less. The pool is very warm. Probably in the 90's. I...More

We booked in this hotel and did not stay the night, choosing to move ourselves and all our stuff to another hotel. The staff were very accommodating, showing us several rooms, but the smell of cigarette smoke pervaded both rooms and corridors. This hotel has...More

What year was this hotel last remodeled? Or,in which years have major remodeling taken place? My friend and I are having a "lively debate"(because it's SOOO important), which originated with him saying something along the lines of, "I can't believe they charge so much for a room that hasn't been remodeled since 1987!". He was oddly specific which led me to believe he had read it somewhere but, upon inquiring, he told me he could tell by the "designs, patterns, and style" of the "room decor"(carpet, curtains, wallpaper, a June 1987 issue of Playboy magazine he found under his mattress, etc.). So, if you would do us the honor of ending this intense debate, I personally would really appreciate it! *Please note:several jokes were added to this question to make it less... Boring? In no way am I trying to insult this fine establishment and I would personally rate it 4/5 smiley faces :) the view is (somewhat) breathtakingly stunning! I never knew McDonald's had so many homeless folk that didn't order food yet still sat around as if they had! Just kidding... The Columbia River is freaking majestic as heck! Lewis and Clark did a wonderful thing when they created it! Kudos! Thank you, Alex the Unknowing
