We stayed here the night of our wedding and loved it!! We wanted to see people off at the airport the next morning before leaving on our honeymoon. We were able to check in the morning of the wedding, and come in late after the reception. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and our breakfast was superb. Highly recommend...

Great option if you enjoy a traditional B&B. Property has old world charm and character. Location is safe and convenient with free parking. Rooms are large, clean comfortable with free wifi. The breakfast is amazing (substantial and homemade). The owners, Ted and Sallie, are terrific (friendly and helpful). Great value for the money and best option in Vancouver.

Our room at the Inn was very comfortable and we were able to be booked into the room with the attached bath. The Hosts were gracious about accommodating for my husband's gluten free diet, so we both enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Everything in downtown Vancouver is convenient. We walked to the Farmer's Market, and to a wonderful Thai restaurant that...

The Briar Rose is a terrific find. The home is a beauty, built in 1908, and lovingly renovated by the owners very hands. The value is excellent. The beds are very comfortable memory foam, and the breakfast is sumptuous - incredibly fresh assorted fruit, a wonderful almond tart, scrambled eggs, bacon. I almost always clean my plate and I could...

We recently stayed for 3 nights in this historic B and B. What a comfortable place it is! The breakfasts were wonderful, and the location is convenient to downtown Vancouver with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops.

We have stayed here many times and it's always a comfortable relaxing experience. Ted and Sallie share their beautiful craftsman home and in the morning serve a delicious breakfast in the dining room. Gingerbread pancakes with maple cream topping is a good way to start the day. Briar Rose is an easy walk to town and a block away from...

This is such a lovely B&B! Four rooms available, two with private baths. All great rooms! Gourmet breakfasts, different every day! We've stayed here twice and will come back here whenever we're in town!

Charming Bed and Breakfast. My husband and I stayed here 4 nights. The Inn is charming, extremely clean and well maintained. Ted our host and breakfast chef was friendly and made us amazing breakfasts. He adapted our breakfast around our eating habits. Sally was sweet. The Inn was well located in the center of town. I would have given this...

We stayed four nights while we went to class from 8:30am to 5pm. We needed something good for the soul and found it at the Briar Rose Inn. We stayed in the French Towle room. The room is large the ensuite is small but adequate. The inn is a true Craftsman with large rooms. I enjoyed some time in the...

Wanted to like this place, especially since it is the only B & B in Vancouver (not sure why). As others have mentioned, Ted's breakfasts are wonderful. They are very well prepared, lots of flavor and variety. What seems lacking is some of the attention to detail found in other B & B s. It is somewhat unusual not to...
