I had things stolen from my room. Representatives at several levels of this Courtyard franchise repeatedly told me that I must not have closed my door securely, and that “they can’t be responsible for actions of a third party.” They told me at least three times that their insurance company would contact me. I never heard from anyone.

It's an old hotel with dirty stained shower curtains/tub, air conditioner box units, and basically microwave breakfast options. Staff is friendly. Room was clean and bathroom mirror good for makeup. Wouldnt stay longer than a night or two for work trip. Will go elsewhere next time.

Thought I was going to stay one night while friend had surgery but ended up spending 5 nights. Room was fine, only complaint was a slow drain in the bathroom sink. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again.

Stayed here during 2nd week of October. Rooms were dirty. My room smelled strongly of weed. Front desk refused to change the room. I had to open the window of the room at night, while outside temp was 45. Hallways were dirty. Furniture is very dated. Customer service is hopeless. Forget about getting room turned over, they don't have courtesy to bring any supplies to your room. Front desk staff will tell you rudely to come and pick them up yourself. This is on top of horrendous and abhorrent charges that you have to pay. Overall a disgusting experience

The issues we had may be related to the limited number of staff currently working due to COVID as we did note all restaurants and hotels only had a handful of employees throughout our cross country trip. Be sure to talk to the hotel to confirm what is/is not available at this hotel. We booked 6 nights in a city view room at this location as it was close to family. We are lifetime Titanium Elite members and were not greeted as such or even welcomed upon arrival nor were we offered an upgrade which is one of the benefits of bring at this level. The view in the room was fair, however there was an overhang that limited what you could see. For a 6 night stay, , we were given 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and one wash cloth. We have no problem using towels twice however when we asked for more towels, staff were not at all happy with our request and they took over 3 hours to arrive. When we wanted more, we looked in the fitness room and pool area for towels so we did not bother staff but to our surprise, no towels there either. Walked each hallway in the morning to see if we could find house keeping to get towels, but none around. Found out there is no daily housekeeping available. The hallways looked liked they had not been vacuumed for a long, long time, trash on each floor. Ended up washing the towels ourselves in the laundry facility on the 8th floor. Cost was $5 total per load for a complete wash/dry . Be aware, it only takes quarters and there is not a change machine or detergent/ dryer sheets available and although there are two stacked units, only one worked. We had driven cross country and stayed in multiple Marriott hotels along the way all of which offered coffee in the morning as well as breakfast. On our first morning, went down to get coffee, surprised to find the bistro was closed, no coffee anywhere and when asked, staff confirmed they did not have coffee available. Yes, there are two packets in the room but if you like real coffee like we do, you want to stay away from them as they taste terrible. In addition we received free water bottles throughout our trip to Boston but not at this hotel so the only option would be using water from the bathroom, not our choice. One night went to the market in the lobby to get some drinks. No water, no diet drinks, very limited selection available and looking around other selections were spare. Asked the front desk if they had more water as none were in the refrigerator, the reply we got was “they” bought them all. Not sure who ”they” were but asked if there were more in storage because what hotel does not have cases of food / drink in storage in order to restock? Was told they did not have anything but a truck was coming later that night. This hotel was disappointing, they just doesn’t seem prepared to take care of their guests. Also beware using the iron and ironing board, ours was so unstable and flimsy the iron tipped over and fell twice while using it barely missing my leg each time.
