A great place to go! Mok and his team are really nice and friendly. On time pick up from Fairbanks and a very nice lodge: amazing views, comfy sofas, hot drinks. The windows face north and as there is not lots of light in the lodge you can easily see outside. When the lights begin to dance, you can either...

I just came back from a trip to Alaska and my experience at Aurora Borealis Lodge made my trip! Mok and crew truly are a delight and do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable! I love that the lodge is kept dark so whether inside or outside you can see the lights or admire the stars, while you...

There are only 4 rooms in the lodge. Each of them have big windows facing north with a big comfy couch in front, so you can enjoy the light show in your panama sipping tea! The owner takes care of every detail of your need during your stay, the room was nice and clean, beds were comfy, kitchenette well stocked......

I visited the Aurora Borealis Lodge during the night to see the Northern Lights. From the beginning, Mok was great. Always responsive to emails and providing good guidance. As I was not staying at the Lodge, Mok arranged for van pickup from my hotel and transport to the Lodge. The driver was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The Lodge itself is...

This was easily one of the most fun experiences my wife and I have ever had. We stayed January 13-16, and would have stayed longer if we could have. First, the lodge is as wonderful as the other reviews all say. The room was fantastic (we had room 2 on the 2nd floor), spacious, and very comfortable. The best part...

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas and it was simply brilliant from start to finish. Mok welcomed us from the moment we arrived and explained all aspects perfectly to us. The room was impeccably clean and provided great viewing of the Northern Lights. As guests, we can also join in each night with the tour...

I planned our Thanksgiving trip in the beginning of the year in hopes to give thanks under God's amazing light show. I found the Aurora Borealis Lodge by googling and thru the Alaska travel sites but what helped me make my decision to stay here instead of anywhere else was reading all the great reviews from all the other guests....

Based upon reviews, we decided to try this place. We went to their website, dutifully looked up availability, and made reservations replete with credit card. Having made the reservations, we booked air travel. All set, right? Except it wasn't a reservation, it seems. Mok found someone else to book the room, perhaps for a longer time? Unknown. But 2 days...

These apartments are a great place to watch the nothern lights. We stayed in November and managed to see the northern lights 3 nights out of 3. We had one of the top apartments that are slightly more expensive, but they are a good size, very clean and come with heated toilet seats. The rooms are modern and have a...

Rained most of our stay, but managed to see the lights one or two nights. Rooms were fine and Sitka ( black Lab) was Adorable. He reminded me of our lab that had crossed over the rainbow bridge and made our stay so enjoyable ( even though the weather didn't cooperate.
