Albeit a few years ago that my husband and I stayed here on our first visit to Alaska from the United Kingdom I wanted to add my thoughts on this hotel. We had a two night stopover here as part of our Alaska Railroad trip and found the hotel to be most suitable. It was very colourful outside with a...

We had booked a cruise with land travel. But, the hotel we were to stay at had NO accommodations the 1st night so needed to book elsewhere. Bridgewater fit the bill. And even picked us up at the airport. This is an older hotel but kept up fairly well. Most impressive were the employees. SO friendly and helpful. We would...

Great value. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location - right by the river, central, restaurants closeby, about a 10min walk to the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center. We stayed in room 501; a corner room on the top floor, very spacious, 3 windows, nice views - we saw the northern lights from our bed! Yes, the hotel is...

Well located near the river and town. It was great being picked up in the early hours of the morning by hotel staff. The rooms were small and dated but they were clean and of the hotel staff were friendly. Having an onsite self-service laundry was handy.

Stayed for three nights. Some five minutes walk from the main shopping area albeit it was in a quiet location next to the river. Rooms were quite spacious with a good shower. Hotel was very clean throughout and the staff were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Enjoyable stay.

Spent a night in Fairbanks during early September, while travelling around Alaska, and wanted to stay "downtown", so the best place to decide was by checking on TripAdvisor, and based on the reviews and location I chose the Bridgewater. It is right downtown along the Chena River and a quick walk to several restaurants and pubs. There is an excellent...

Clean and neat hotel - rooms were big enough and so was the bathroom ( although compact ) Clean and tidy rooms. Wifi, coffee machine were provided. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The only thing I will say about this hotel is that although it was a nice quite area on the river, there wasn't a lot around it...

We stayed here for just one night based on price and ratings. I was on the lowest level, at the end, so I had the parking lot and road next to the room. But it was actually quiet, though I did have the wall unit ac going. bathroom and shower was small, but was adequate. Breakfast is served in the...

We stayed at the Bridgewater Hotel in Fairbanks, Alaska and I cannot rate it highly enough. After a long drive there, we were delighted to be met with delicious punch and cookies. The rooms were more spacious than we had been experiencing and very clean and comfortable and the laundry was clean and well set up. The food in the...
