We stayed here as part of a tour. Lodge was a great location to see Northern Lights and to enjoy rural country scenery. It took about 10-15 minutes to get into Fairbanks on major roads. Breakfast each morning included an egg dish, fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, juices, etc. Each morning had some different items so you didn't have the same...

We stayed 5 nights at Taste of Alaska, and it was GREAT! It's a 15-minute drive outside of Fairbanks, and nicely isolated in the woods. The lodge has a nice big common room, and a dozen or so bedrooms. Rooms are comfy and warm, and include bathrooms and even TV's (though I suspect they don't get used much!). The pace...

The owners have created a gorgeous retreat for the aurora-inclined, complete with viewing area and warming tent. The views across the valley are stunning, with Mt. Denali visible sometimes. The cottage is beautiful, with well equipped kitchen. The breakfast is yummy and fresh cooked. Coffee, tea and basics are provided. The owners have created art from metal and found objects...

I had a wonderful six day stay. I came to see the Yukon Quest and the aurora. This is a great place to see and photograph the aurora. Kory and his staff were excellent hosts and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. My new "go to" place in Fairbanks... I will be returning!

Just a really cozy and friendly B&B-style Alaska stay. I've taken a photography groups to TofAK twice, and both times it was a really nice experience. Our trips have been limited to the winter for Aurora and landscape photography, so I have no experience with other seasons there. Kory Eberhart, the owner aknd full-time, hands-on innkeeper delivered friendly and helpful...

Perfectly situated just outside town and on the road to chena hot springs. It was an easy drive to the hot springs for a day, but we could easily get into town for dinner. Kory and his team were great hosts, provided us with snowshoes to tramp around his 100+ acres, and a great fireworks show for new years. They...

'A Taste of Alaska Lodge' is a quiet getaway a few miles outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. My wife and I traveled there in November of 2015. We generally prefer to keep to ourselves on vacations, and tend to spend more time together than we do socializing with others. We were surprised by the feel of the lodge when we arrived....

TOA is a hidden gem-- just far enough from Fairbanks to be "away", peaceful and serene, and a charming attraction every season of the year. Our latest trip was in October, and we encountered their "snowpalooza"- 14" of snow. it was gone by week's end... They even put some chairs out for us to use while watching the northern lights....
