We recently stayed one week at A Taste of Alaska Lodge to view the Northern Lights. We stayed in the Log House, which has two bedrooms and a full kitchen. The Log House is spacious and comfortable, and offers a convenient location for viewing the Northern Lights. From the Log House's deck, we could check the Northern Lights activity to... More

A great B&B for rest, relaxation, and adventures. From this location just a short drive from Fairbanks we went dog sledding, walking with reindeer, and night sky viewing. The rooms were large and comfortable. Kory, owner and chef, prepared a delicious breakfast daily and coffee and hot tea were always available. Our 4 night stay was most enjoyable.

This was our second stay at the lodge. In August 2012 we stayed in the upstairs (west?) wing which would comfortably sleep a large family. This time we stayed in the lower area of the lodge with a door leading directly to the open area where the Northern Lights are viewed. The lodge is just the perfect distance from the... More

We had a wonderful all day retreat at this location in January. The space was cozy and great for creative thinking. Food was delicious, staff interactions were limited but pleasant. Even though it's rural, there was great cell service and it's easy to find off CHSR.

This was an unexpected gem. We booked our stay not having much of an idea that we stumbled on a great place. The family that owns the inn is warm and friendly. this is a place I will be going back to again and again!

We visited the taste of Alaskan lodge in nov 2014 for 3 nights. The log cabin was great and full of character. It was like a mini- museum. Also great hospitality by the Eberhardt family and great family history to the place. We had a fantastic northern lights display on our first night and just a short walk through the... More
