Went on a Princess Land/Cruise vacation and this was the 1st stop. All was great. The place is a nice place to stay. I don't know the price of the place since we were on a tour. There is a place to eat but we...More
We arrived at 1:30 in the morning. Our room was ready and the comfortable bed and pillows were very welcome. The room size is adequate and has a decent size TV. The room was very clean and inviting as was the lobby. We ate a...More
Downtown proximity to Fairbanks visitor center which gives great overview of Alaska and close to other interesting sites make this hotel a 5* for me. Double easy chairs with ottoman and great window for view adds to experience. Highly recommend.
After more than 15 hours of waiting in airports and flying, it was frustrating to arrive with a tour group of 48, get key cards that didn't work for the assigned room, and then be told they had no reservation for us! The front desk...More
We stayed at this hotel the last night of our land/sea tour of Alaska through Holland America. We were given the Governor's Suite which was a nice perk during the tour. It was a living area with TV, refrigerator and separate sleeping area with another...More

I suggest visiting Chena Hot Springs...there is a tour van that will pick you up and bring you back to your hotel. You can see moose and maybe a bear along the way. Bring your swim suit. The food at the hot springs is quite good. Another good tour is the Riverboat Discovery...you can take a cab or there is likely a bus that swings by the hotel to pick up guests for the boat trip on the Chena River. Pioneer Park (aka Alaska-Land) is free and quite interesting -- there is a riverboat, a Native village, shops, cafes, places for a picnic. The University of Alaska Museum is a first class attraction too.

We stayed in the North Tower, which is where our cruise line (Holland America) booked us. Not sure how it relates to the other tower but overall very disappointed with this hotel and not up to other standards booked by Holland America. Breakfast EXPENSIVE, with few choices and poor quality. We arrived late in the day and one couple in our party was checked in to a room that had not been cleaned with vomit in the toilet. Management totally non-responsive to our complaints.
