Arlo Williamsburg garners acclaim for maintaining pristine cleanliness, with guests frequently lauding its immaculate rooms and efficient housekeeping. The well-appointed amenities, including a fitness center and a rooftop pool offering breathtaking views, are popular features that enhance stays. While the hotel's atmosphere is generally considered stylish and inviting, some have noted issues with noise and room ambiance. Service at Arlo Williamsburg is often described as professional and friendly, although occasional slow responses mar the experience. The hotel's prime location in Williamsburg is a hit for its proximity to local hotspots, despite some guests finding the pricing steep for rooms and on-site dining.

We are staying at the Arlo Williamsburg, in town for a wedding.
We stopped for brunch at the restaurant in the lobby. Catlos was our server and was extremly accomodating. We sampled 3 entrees the pancakes, ceaser salad and salmon bagel. They were all delicious and I would highly recommend any of the three because they had the perfect blend of flavors. Also, the portions were a great size, I would recommend sharing them with the table. The bacon bread was very interesting, it was a perfect combination of sweet and salty. Final review: everything was delicious!! I’m more of a dinner girl myself, but brunch can be a great change of pace and we had a ton of fun! Atmosphere was clean and relaxed, wait staff was extremely attentive. This is definitely a must-try the next time you are looking for brunch!

I had such a memorable experience here this past Sunday and I can't wait to go back. I purchased a Pulsd deal for the High Tea for two at $59 and made a reservation on OpenTable. I also corresponded with Grant, one of the managers who introduced himself during our time there. He was helpful, accommodating and friendly. In terms of the experience itself, my friend and I received two three-tiered dishes of sandwiches, scones and cakes. We also got our own selection of tea in antique teapots and two glasses of champagne. It came with so much and was priced so right. The quality of the food and beverages exceeded our expectations. I especially liked the cucumber and cream cheese sandwich and the salmon sandwich. I was a little iffy about eating raw fish but I couldn't help but try it because it looked delicious...so glad I did. Our waiter was Genti and not only did he provide attentive service but he also became our personal photographer! He took such cute photos of my friend and I. Finally the restaurant itself is set up beautifully. There's so much room to socially distance, all the staff was in masks, sanitized frequently and the space was decorated elegantly; perfect for the holiday season. They even had two Christmas trees set up that we posed next to for photos. Thank you Genti and Grant for providing us with an unforgettable experience during such a stressful time in our city. I look forward to my next visit!

I recently stayed at the Williamsburg Hotel for 8 days and all I can say is What an Amazing Staff. Everyone was ready to assist you. During this unorthodox time I never thought I would find a place that felt safe but this hotel is all about safety and the well being of all the guests. Kudo's to this Beautiful Hotel this. The hotel is situated in a perfect location, rooftop pool, outside dining. Hand sanitizers where placed all over the hotel as well as signs asking guests to social distance and to wear masks.. The front desk agent(sorry forgot his name) asked me if i needed extra face-masks to go out which I gladly accepted. I booked my room with Louis in Sales and what delight it was to work with him. He was very polite and funny. I had requested my company to book the Williamsburg Hotel when we stay in NY. It's an amazing property with all the amenity's you can expect from a 5 Star hotel.

The receptionists with the exception of Daniel need to work on customer service. I stayed 1 night for my birthday and it was a very underwhelming stay. Disappointed to say the least. Also the website specifically states that any guest staying 1-3 nights will NOT receive housekeeping. Yet 9am the next morning, housekeeping attempted to enter my room when checkout is 11a. I was startled and scared with the sound of someone attempting to get into my room. I’m just glad that I wasn’t in the bathtub. When I checked out at 9:30a because at that point I just couldn’t deal with my experience, I informed the receptionist and all she said was ohh really? Sorry? Just like that.

Also check-in was at 3pm, I arrived at 2:40p and didn’t get a room key until 3:30p. When I went to collect the key, the other receptionist was dealing with a customer and acknowledged her birthday(while I had to tell my receptionist that it was my birthday) and he offered her a complimentary breakfast. Ask me what I was offered...yes you guessed it, nothing. I was given my room key and was sent on my way. I got to the elevator and wasn’t told how it worked. When I proceeded to go back to the receptionist who assisted, she was right by the elevator swiftly making an exit as her shift was over. She quickly showed me how to use the elevator and was gone.

Booked the Williamsburg in pursuit of the perfect spot to see the NYC skyline and the 4th of July fireworks based on the referral of another 5-star hotel. This place did NOT disappoint. The vibe of the area is very hip and elevated...the back streets reminded me of Europe. We booked a corner Suite and the room was beyond amazing from its herring bone reclaimed wood floors, floor to ceiling windows of the skyline, to the vibrant tile in the open air bathroom. All the windows had remote controlled blackout shades. A huge benefit. Hotel lobby/bar area is amazing with high brick ceilings, spiral staircase and impressive industrial sized metal beams.

Food in the main floor dining was creative and quite good. There are amazing restaurants in walking distance in all directions for those who have a more discerning palate. Service was a bit harried, as they seemed a bit short staffed for the weekend. However, the ambiance more than made up for it. Pool is a bit small, but the view is amazing.

We will be back.

I booked this hotel, had a guarantee reservation and prepaid, when we arrived, we were told that our room was already occupied and that if we wanted to stay here, it would cost us an additional fee because they could give us a different room at a higher price. We explained that we prepaid for our room, so why now do we have to pay more. We did not want to pay more and asked for a refund. They told us that there was a no refund policy and we could either pay more or leave. We paid more, almost double the original price for another room. When we left the next day, they never refunded our money for the original room. So basically we paid twice for a room. We complained several times over the next few months and they always told us that the check is in the mail. Of course, it never came. It was just one lie after another. The hotel looks nice inside but this is just a facade. Many of the staff members are nasty or downright liars. We were promised a free breakfast for the hassle but when we tried to use it we were told that it was not signed. When we went to look for the manager from yesterday who gave it to us, he was off that day. Thus, we paid for the free breakfast. The elevators are very slow and small. You must wait 15 minutes to finally get on an elevator. The stairway doors are locked so you cannot use the stairs; what a fire hazard when stairway doors are locked. The restaurant food is expensively priced, as is everything else in this hotel but the food is average. In the room, when you use the shower, water leaks everywhere in the bathroom and gets everything you bring in wet. You can hear everything in the room next door and in the hallways. It is impossible to get a good night sleep in this hotel. This is a highly over-priced hotel with poor service and poor staff. Better to stay somewhere else. Worst hotel experience I have ever had.

I recently stayed at The Williamsburg hotel with my girlfriend. We traveled with a small dog, they offered us a complimentary upgrade to a room with a terrace. They asked if we are celebrating anything special. I mentioned that was a birthday celebration for my gf; they were so kind and offered complimentary drinks with a delicious dessert. Rooftop bar was amazing with stunning views. The rooms and common spaces were incredibly clean. Specially during covid. We found multiple sanitizer dispensers, elevator buttons are self disinfected with nano technology. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Not to mention that we had treats at the front desk for our little puppy. We much appreciate the great gesture during our recent stay. I would definitely stay here again! Top notch service and highly recommended!

We had a staycation date night at the Williamsburg hotel, and while the pool and bar are really lovely and atmospheric, overall it was a lot more expensive than it was worth. When we arrived our room had a “room being serviced” sticker on the door and a welcome envelope with someone else’s name on it - not very reassuring when we are all hoping for enhanced cleaning due to covid 19. I called reception to check, and they apologized but did not send someone to remove the envelope as promised. The balcony was lovely but the door handle fell off as soon as I touched it. The amenities are great but the bathroom had a couple of hairs left in it from previous guests and was missing conditioner. It was loud most of the night as people got home from their nights out (we went to bed at 1am, so it’s not unreasonable to hope for quiet after say 2am). The bed was comfortable but incredibly squeaky. It’s also not possible to make a reservation at the pool even if it’s half empty as it was when I arrived - had to go down to reception, make a reservation, and then go back up. Overall it’s a nice place, very stylish, trendy crowd, pool is amazing, incredible views and very nice rooftop bar. But for $500 a night I expected a lot more in terms of the room itself, standards of cleanliness etc.

I went here with some friends for high tea at the Seven Seas. First, the restaurant and hotel lobby is beautiful. Live music adds a great vibe. The high tea is lovely, you get an assortment of pastries and sandwiches, and you can choose to get a class of sparkling wine or champagne for an added per person cost.

The vibe is great and the tea was great. Perhaps the best part though was the service. We were taken care of by Genti, who was a blast. He knew when to see to us and when to let us gossip by ourselves. He seemed to always be there when we needed something and he was a lot of fun. Also, he is an expert photographer! We asked him to take pictures of our party and in 1 minute we got a selection of great shots with no bad angles.

So, good food, great tea, great vibes and the most important part - a great experience. Will be going back and when I do I will ask for Genti!

I'm not sure where to leave a review of the most horrible party I have ever attended on the rooftop of this dump, so I'm posting it here. First of, they didn't even think of providing some kind of parking accommodations. Second, for $188 a person you were supposed to get a BBQ dinner, which consisted of boxed burgers or hotdogs and a bag of chips, plus some wilted salad the waiter kept in the back of the display for some reason but didn't set out. They had put the DJ booth in the way of where you were supposed to see the fireworks (the only reason we were there). The bar area is partially covered so your view of the fireworks is truncated, especially when they kept you aways from the periphery with the huge bottle service tables they had set up for $3,500. Overpriced drinks, rude, indifferent service. No place to sit to have your boxed dinner. One staffer told me it was "park" style, eat standing up. Their claim to fame, their pool, was closed and with tiered priced tickets you could see exactly what you weren't getting after paying several hundred dollars. Next year, I will keep my $700 (three tickets and drinks) and go to FDR. At least there, we are all equal. The organizers gave 0% thought to making it nice for their guests and 100% on how they could squeeze every dollar out each person. NEVER AGAIN!
