The Williamsburg Hotel was the main hub for our wedding weekend earlier this month (January 2023), and it was truly a magical stay. While we didn't hold our reception or any dinners at this hotel, we did block off quite a few rooms for traveling wedding guests, the family of the groom, and of course - the groom and I. We stayed in one of the largest suites the hotel has to offer, and it was an incredibly beautiful experience. The Room: stunning views, comfortable bed/sofa/everything, clean. Only gripe is that even though we had one of the largest rooms, it still felt a bit cramped. The regular rooms were humorously small considering the price for the stay. But that leads me to my next two points. The Service: WONDERFUL service. Everyone in the hotel was kind and hospitable, I never felt uncomfortable or as if I were inconveniencing anyone. The Location: not far from our wedding venue (The Music Hall of Williamsburg) and set in the perfect place for city views (near the east river) and plenty of shopping and food options. Ideal location. Amenities: not really the greatest honestly, but whenever we needed something the hotel was on top of it and helped us without any hesitation. So that made up for it! Overall: I loved this hotel! The price unfortunately is just ridiculous, and it would keep me from recommending to any friends and family. Just close your eyes and swipe if you feel like treating yourself to an unnecessarily over-the-top hotel stay!…
I stayed here for a few days with some friends and we had an excellent time. The highlight of this place however was the bar in the ground floor, the bartender Elena gave me one of the best bar experiences, she was so attentive, friendly, cool and gave me so many suggestions in food and drinks. I would definitely come back to this hotel just for the drinks alone. Papachango is the best! Thanks Elena & the whole staff!
Stayed there for the weekend with my husband. We had a great time. The hotel was lively, clean, and the staff was helpful. The decor was fun and we got a lot of good pictures. There is so much to do! I would definitely recommend.
As a business traveler this was my first time in this hotel and I want to share that overall this was one of my best stays in the city. This was my first time stay in a Brooklyn and was the best location so far throughout my NYC stays. I am not doing this as usual, but I know that at some point my review gonna have an influence on others choices, so be it :)) Coming from hospitality industry myself, There's still a place for an improvement in the restaurant service ,but it was fine. Also want to complement your FO agent, Tamta. She was way too good to be true.
Exceptional service and facilities throughout. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Room was beautiful with a fantastic view. Breakfast included was excellent. View of manhattan was breathtaking. Bed linens absolutely luscious. Temperature perfectly comfortable and adjustable
We stayed at The Williamsburg for two nights for a wedding in the area. The location was outstanding. We had a car but didn't need it, as we were able to walk to all venues as well as the restaurants and bars we wanted to hit. There was ample street parking - all free which was a nice bonus. Like many NYC hotels, the room was tiny, but adequate and attractively decorated. The bathroom however was super small with little space for toiletry bags. Our room was not ready at check in time and we had to wait about a half hour past the posted check in time to get our keys. We were given a drinks voucher for our trouble. I would recommend a stay here as stylish and accessible to a lot of Williamsburg.
My job decided to have our annual holiday luncheon at the restaurant and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. Our server Martin was exceptionally welcoming! He helped us move the table to give our disabled coworker more space which was very appreciated. The atmosphere was intimate & food and drinks were 10/10. After dinner we got a tour of the Water Tower where our tour guide Bella took a million pictures of us. This location & Bella truly made this the best luncheon we’ve had and we’ll be bragging to our coworkers that didn’t come for the next couple days!!!
Enjoyed my stay as usual. Hotel is so chic and all the staff are so helpful! Tamta at reception was especially helpful as she would always give me my gym pass the day before so I could go early the next day! Will be staying again, thanks to all and merry Xmas
came here for breakfast with my family visiting new york. the breakfast was delicious and our server Martin was so kind and professional. Lissett and Carlos were a joy to be around. everything was perfect and we will come again.
Had an amazing time with a friend for afternoon tea. The sandwiches were very tasty and the service was friendly. Genty was so attentive and helped answer all of our questions. I would definitely come back again soon!
