I'm a Queens native and the Sofia Inn felt like home! We visited early October for four nights to see family and friends in the area and this suite and garden offered room to have them come visit with us for an afternoon. Two of...More
Stayed here for 3 nights in the 3rd floor with sharing bedroom.
Strategic place to stay. Near to subway and eateries, we love the bagel shop not far from Sofia Inn.
Clean room :)

The apartment was nice, roomy, with access to a garden. 2 bedrooms, wifi, private bath. Everything worked out nicely and the place is close to a B and Q-line subway station.
I would recommend for couples, families and small groups of friends.

My husband and 2 teenage girls stayed in the Parlor Suite for 5 nights. After looking at many, many Manhattan hotels we decided we wanted more than just 2 beds. It was great having a kitchen to make coffee, keep stuff cold, etc.

No, the bathroom on the second floor is in the hallway and the bathroom on the third floor is kind of like a jack and jill bathroom. I was worried about sharing a bathroom when I got there but found that I never ran into my floormate and both were VERY clean. If you inquire about whether there will be others on your floor they will tell you and I think knowing helped! I absolutely LOVED this place and will stay there again if I ever have the chance to get back to the Brooklyn museum of work again!
