I've traveled the world (38+ countries) and stayed in hostels most of the way. This by far was my worst experience. The night manager burst into my room, shone his torch in my face, and then threatened to kick me out onto the street, all because I had another guest visiting (who was also staying in the hostel) in our...

Such a great place to stay in New York for a decent price, so close to the Subway station down the road. The staff were helpful and friendly and provided free breakfast. The downstairs (basement) music created a great vibe but it was such a shame that the room I stayed in was right above it and music was so...

I was sleeping over the bar and had no sleep throughout the duration of my stay. The staff have done nothing about my complaint and have ignored my last email. I would not stay here again. I would not recommend this hostel to a friend. Such a 'don't care' attitude!

I stayed at this hostel for two weeks on a trip to New York this July. The location of the hostel was perfect, particularly for me as a young solo female traveller. There are some great places to eat very near the hostel (Roberta's for pizza, Momo's for sushi) and it's a very quick and safe walk to the Morgan...

Enjoyed my stay at this hostel last year. The rooms are lovely, decor is cool, staff generally friendly and helpful. There's a nice bar and free BBQ on Thursday nights and free unlimited breakfast. Quick connection to manhattan but you do need to get the metro. It's however, very expensive for a dorm room- I'd say Manhattan prices. I know...

Very basic free breakfast served (Peanutbutter/Jelly toast :D), great location after lots of sightseeing in manhattan. Very quiet, alternative area of brooklyn. Train connection is perfect, little local supermarked just around the corner.Hostel has a ATM. AC is not good enough in the rooms. Lovely shared terrace area.

I chose this hostel because I was in town to attend a concert in Brooklyn. The hostel is in a great location and very close to a train station. As a solo female, I felt safe walking from the train station to the hostel at 1am. I shared a room with two other females and we had our own bathroom....

There is also an elevator. There is not so much to do in the area. The (bath)rooms are very dirty. Hair in the bathroom etc. The blanket...
