We loved it here and would absolutely stay again. Beautiful room, everything is so clean, great breakfast, and Trudy and Paul are so welcoming. The location cannot be beat, you're 45 minutes on the subway from downtown NYC.

In June my husband and I booked a room at the Blue Porch B&B for a four nights stay in September. We could not possibly know at the time how lucky we were that Trudy and Paul had just started to accept new guests again after two years of pause. It was our first visit to New York with the... More

As others have note, the Blue Porch is an outstanding B and B, superbly located near the B and Q subway lines that allow one to travel to Manhattan in about a half hour. The facilities themselves are excellent: a comfortable bed and bedroom with all of the amenities, a modern up to date bathroom that is spotless, and a... More

Had a marvellous stay with Trudy and Paul. Lovely Breakfast every morning and they couldn't be more helpful. Very good location. Very close to Subway and room to park our vehicle outside in a very quiet street. Great location with lovely old homes. They couldn't have been more helpful. Would recommend The Blue Porch to anyone

My (adult) daughter and I stayed at the Blue Porch for our first-ever visit to NYC. The warmth and generosity shown by Trudy and Paul really colored our perception of the city. We felt like special, and very welcome, guests. Conversationally, Trudy and Paul struck the perfect balance: friendly, helpful, but never intrusive. It seems that they know how to... More

Paul and Trudy were very hospitable and friendly, as we had many interesting conversations over our 5 day stay. They are very knowledgeable about New York and gave us lots of tips about the city and directions to places we wanted to see. Although it is just a continental breakfast, it was delicious and they put a lot of care... More

Paul and Trudy were so incredibly lovely; not only did they provide a warm welcoming home, but they helped us plan our travel. We arrived at their home after the airport at 9 PM, hungry for dinner and they immediately gave us a map of all the fabulous local restaurants within walking distance. The next morning when we woke up,... More
