Ace Hotel Brooklyn belongs to Boerum Hill, on the cusp of Downtown Brooklyn — a block from the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Station, at the ever-evolving intersection of everything. The latest chapter in Ace’s long romance with New York, we built Ace Brooklyn from the ground up: every piece in service of the borough’s tireless ingenuity, made to move and breathe right along with the city itself. Designed by longtime Ace collaborators Roman and Williams, the hotel’s Brutalist facade welds seamlessly with interiors inspired by the raw artist studio spaces of the European modernists. There’s a communal lobby, a large-scale installation by artist Stan Bitters, and guest rooms that feature floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic views of Manhattan, Staten Island and the Statue of Liberty. We planted a verdant indoor garden complete with double-sided fireplace and sawtooth skylight, and made sure to furnish plenty of indoor and outdoor work spaces for our neighbors and guests — a lasting place to continue the city’s rich tradition of people doing things their own way, together.

I can go on and on about the design and space of the hotel. The rooms are well equipped and spacious for NUC standards. The wonderful thing about Ace Brooklyn is the front desk team. Everyone made me feel like I was at home. Isacc, Asia, Geneva and Damien took amazing care of me for me stay! I miss them already. Can’t wait to come back.

This hotel is truly amazing, from the building, to the location, the rooms, the ambiance, and the staff. I stayed at the Ace Brooklyn on a road trip from Detroit with my dog. The experience of the stay was great even from before booking when I called to make sure it was okay to bring my very large dog--they are super dog friendly and it showed as soon as we got there! The staff was incredible and made my dog and me feel like we were home. I especially loved the night front desk staff; they were so friendly and even gave me great parking advice (it was super easy to park for free on the street by the way)! The vibe of the rooms and the common areas is so hip but also inviting. I loved the design of the rooms and how they were super thoughtfully planned, right down to the light switch controls (which allowed dimming on all light fixtures and also the ability to turn all lights off at once by the bed AND front door). The furnishings are gorgeous, the bed and pillows are remarkably comfortable, and the room even had a turntable to play music. As a sustainability professional, I really appreciated the local, vintage, and small business sourcing for furniture and other furnishings. One of the best parts of the room is the shower as well! I wanted to take it home with me. It's gorgeously designed but also the quality and water pressure are great. This is my go-to from now on when I come to NYC. I already have my next stay booked in February for my friends' wedding! My dog and I both were in love with this hotel and enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

So happy to have this place in the neighborhood! The hospitality and service was perfect. The food offering is good too & there are many great restaurants around (and more opening!). At a time like this when everything is uncertain, it was comforting staying with this crew, they made us feel safe and at home.

I surprised my partner with tickets to a Nets game for Christmas. We stayed at the Ace Hotel while in Brooklyn. We arrived earlier than expected and the front desk staff kindly accommodated an early check in. We easily found on street parking just around the corner from the hotel and it was an easy walk to the Barclay’s center from the hotel. Our room was on the 13th floor with an amazing view. The room was large and clean. The decor was unique and the bed was comfortable. We had a very nice stay. We had a drink at the bar before walking to the game. There was a decent selection of beers and mixed drinks. We also had breakfast before checking out. The matcha latte was delicious. All in all it was a great stay. Every interaction with the hotel staff was great. They were all incredibly welcoming, friendly and super helpful. Re: Covid. Our tickets were purchased in advance of whatever variant we are currently on. Although we were a little nervous about traveling, the staff did an excellent job of adhering to Covid protocols. Masks were worn at all times in common areas and all staff were wearing masks at all times. We were asked for our vaccine cards while at the bar and I noticed that the bar area was clean and sanitized.
