We were so pleased with our stay at DeKoven Suites - If you've never considered a traditional B & B, you need to stay here. Complete privacy, on a quiet street and the most comfortable bed one could imagine. (I typically cannot sleep well when traveling but this was heaven!) Just a 5-minute walk to the subway, we felt completely...

We've stayed here twice now, and have had great experiences both times. Susan is gracious and welcoming. The room and bath are large and well equipped. Breakfast is casual but with plenty of food, including excellent warm croissants and great coffee. It's very close the Newkirk subway station, where the Q train comes often and there's a great gyro spot...

If you're going to sightsee Brooklyn or NYC, the Dekoven Suites is ideally situated. It is only 2 blocks from the Newkirk Plaza subway station. It is also just a few blocks from an area with a large number of diverse restaurants (American, Middle Eastern, Tibetan.....). It is located on a dead end street in a residential area. This can...

What a find in the middle of Ditmas Park. Perfect location right next to the subway. Lots of cool restaurants a few blocks away. Super, super quiet. And the owners are very accommodating. Asked us several times if we needed anything. Helped us figure out where to go for some sight seeing. Breakfast was great both mornings. Love that it...

This is an easy place to stay in Brooklyn. A three minute walk to the subway that takes you right into Manhattan. Great room with great bathroom. Good breakfast with fresh fruit and fresh croissants. It's my go-to place when I visit Brooklyn.

We had such a great time staying at Dekoven Suites. Hosts are accommodating, knowledgable and HILARIOUS. They had all sorts of suggestions to visit... from defara pizza (GO -- it's close) to Coney Island to Manhattan. And it was reasonable enough for us to spend the rest of our money on having a great time. Highly recommended!

The first time we stayed at Dekoven suites Susan volunteered to come pick us up from where we were stranded! What a lifesaver! That just gives an idea of what a friendly, considerate, and warm place this is to stay. We have stayed in both upstairs room and found them most comfortable. Location is perfect for us- just 2 blocks...

Super! Hosts are the best. Neat home. Full service - rooms / bath cleaned daily. Daily breakfast is complete and comfortable. Location is a short walk to the Q / B subway line right into Manhattan. Hosts have ideas and info for lots of good explorations in Brooklyn, Manhattan and all around. Be sure to plan a stop at the...

We love Dekoven Suites, have stayed several times since 2013. The neighborhood is residential, a lovely, quiet way to start and end each day during a bustling NYC visit. It's conveniently near our daughter. We take the nearby subway (a few minutes walk) everywhere. Views of Manhattan from the elevated Q train are breathtaking. The owners are warm, welcoming and...

My wife and family have stayed at Dekoven Suites several times in the past and every time we return to NYC it is our first choice for a place to stay. Susan and Chalo have been incredibly accommodating to all of our needs, even when we have needed some special help. We have stayed in a room upstairs as a...
