The property is located right next to a subway station (Nassau Avenue). Price is very good for New York. We were in the deluxe double room and it was very spacious and had a radiator. The shared kitchen and bathroom were both very clean. The only two negatives were the fact that the room was on the street side and...

We've rent a room at Greenpoint Lodge for 3 nights. We had one of the three rooms on the 2nd floor. Kitchen and bathroom shared. According to the average prices in the city, it wasn't too expensive but still, it could be less pricy. Everything was clean, but it's not noise proof. We heard the other family watching tv and...

In a city without much clean and safe budget accommodation, the Greenpoint Lodge stands out as a budget accommodation with some charm and a cozy atmosphere -- it definitely fills a void. Europeans will find the style of accommodation similar to hostels throughout Europe and South America, while Americans might find some of the shared amenities -- bathroom and living...

Yeah the room was really clean and a good space at a very reasonable rate and right next to the subway. The bag storage is a bit of a life saver too. Unfortunately we were only there for one night and pretty much only used it to sleep. Lots of great shops and restaurants in the area too.

Conveniently located right next to a subway stop with an entrance confusingly shared with a salon, The Greenpoint Lodge was an excellent base of operations for my short stay in New York City. While the cable TV didn't work all too well during our first night, the wifi was reliable (although a bit slow) and the bed was comfortable. The...

The lodge was in a great location, only 3 seconds from the front door was the subway that went straight into Manhattan. I think the room was pretty decent, it had an old time feel. The only things that really needed a prompt upgrade was the TV from 1995 and the shower curtain.

hi! the reason we use older tv's is that they are full of toxic waste and it is very damaging to the environment to throw them out. we try to help the environment in every way we can and since tv's work just as well even if they aren't super high def, we prefer to use those televisions rather than...

Great location in wonderful Greenpoint. This charming lodge is clean, warm and friendly. Fast response from booking manager with clear and open communication. The staff, themselves, are additionally a part of the charm. I will DEFINITELY re-visit this gem of a place next trip to BK.

Bed was very comfortable. The powerboard in the room was temperamental and we had trouble charging some of our devices as a result. Good location very near to a subway station which made getting around easy. No toaster in the kitchen. Cheap for NYC. Did not see any staff the whole time we were there but they were easily contactable.

Hi! So sorry the power strip was temperamental. It's too bad you didn't let us know, though you did say we were easy to contact. We have a whole box of extra ones in our laundry area that we could have replaced yours with. While there is no toaster in the third floor kitchen due to lack of space, the...

While we expected budget accommodation with shared facilities...what we got was not as expected...our room had NO EXTERIOR WINDOWS and access to the room was via the kitchen/common room, meaning it was very noisy and bright at night with light coming through the only window onto the common area. While only 3 rooms were supposed to be using our toilet,...

We are very sorry if you were surprised that the room you were in had no windows. We try to make this very clear in our room descriptions and it is unfortunate if you did not fully read the description before booking. Had you let us know this was an issue we would have moved you to another room if...

This place is amazing value for money when compared with the price of a hotel in Manhattan. There's a subway station right outside so it's also really easy to travel into the city and to / from the airport. The house isn't as new or as clean as the professional photos suggest, but it's still a great house. Our room...
