I LOVE Rising Sun Campground - I loved the campground host and the different learning opportunities they had going on nightly in the campground - Highly recommend the ranger talks. I consider myself an outdoors person & even I learned a lot from the ranger...More

Can get crowded but pretty well placed. Gorgeous views all round. Easy acces to roads and other parts of the park. Facilities were ok. Nothing above and beyond but that's what camping is about . Felt pretty safe too

Apgar is close to everything, it has large enough spaces to fit some RVs and most travel trailers. You don't feel like your on top of your neighbors . Can't wait for next visit. Very clean, very green and lush scenery. Friendly park service.

We didn't camp, stayed at hotels. But in my experience, American camp sites have everything you need (unlike British ones) the best thing to do , is contact the sites direct or check out a camp/rv/ caravan club for reviews... More
