We stayed one night prior to going into the BWCA. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was adequate, juice, bagels, muffins, fruit etc. Overall fine for the price. I would stay there again when in Grand Marais.
We've stayed at Aspen Inn with our dog a few times now. We prefer staying in the 'motel' side of the Inn. The rooms are clean and good-sized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is by far the best value in Grand Marais...More
Firstly, Grand Marais is a disgusting little town with below average everything, from hotels to food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GRAND MARAIS for a vacation spot. It's only good to hike and canoe. Which is who usually books up all the motels. Aspen Inn is...More
