Great location downtown, near everything within walking distance. For the price it's a nice place to stay. Nothing fancy but clean! No A/C and of course we went during a hot spell which is not typical - but they do provide a fan.

Sorry I saw this so late. But...
We have not been there in summer for many years so I am not sure about how effective their AC is. I do believe they have it but I would contact the hotel directly and talk with them.
