Stayed here in an RV in July 2016. It is seriously NOTHING more than a dirt parking lot behind the general store/diner. Check in/register at the store counter. There is absolutely no shade. It is full hook ups, however, the moment we turned on the water to the RV - it clogged up our water filter. We had to replace...

This review is for the cafe portion of the Border Inn. After having a not so pleasant experience with another local restaurant last night, we decided to give the Border Inn Cafe a try. There aren't many places to eat in this area and most of those places are, shall we say, dives. With that in mind, this place was...

The Border Inn is a small spot of life in the Great Basin Desert. The rooms are older but very well kept. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, I had to go to the bar to get online. I wasn't expecting much here, but my stay was better than expected. It is a little crazy that you have to...

Knowing this place is just a spot on the "Loneliest Road in America", I didn't have high expectations. The rooms are spacious. The bed was a bit creaky, It had A/C, but the room had a musty smell to it. It was an okay place to rest along the way. The internet was never working while we were there. It...

A dump, albeit a clean dump. Wifi does not work at all. We never got a connection in two days and were told "we have trouble getting a signal out to the rooms". Really? Yet you advertise free wifi. The wifi didn't work in the restaurant, either. A/C in the room is incredibly loud. Our room key only worked when...

Spent June 25th and 26th at the Border Inn. As other reviews have said better than expected. Visiting my son that is interning at Great Basin NP, we chose the Border as the reviews were okay. Clean and modest hotel. Nothing fancy. Very dated decor, lighting in bathroom for applying make-up wasn't great. Door didn't fit jamb well, had some...

For a mom and pop place in the middle of nowhere, the Border Inn was better than we expected. The modest price does not include breakfast, but there was a microwave, refrigerator, a table and one chair in our Room #1. This lodging certainly is not up to a good chain motel’s standards. The bed was not firm, but we...

Since this is the only place to stay near Border and Great Basin, I was hoping the reviews were accurate. YES! They are and the photos are accurate too. This is a MOTEL, gas station, casino and restaurant far, far from any other services. The room was clean and large. It had a mini frig and microwave. The staff were polite...

This motel / gas station / restaurant / gift shop / casino is the closest place to stay near Great Basin N.P. The clean and comfortable rooms are from another era, but I don’t know which one! The motel and gas station are in Utah; the restaurant and casino are in Nevada. And, they are in different time zones. The...

When it comes to a motel room near Great Basin National Park, the Border Inn is pretty much the only game in town, so I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. It does have a bit of an oil & gas "man camp" feel to it, but the room was clean and perfectly acceptable. The motel is affordable and...
