Smoky Pines is an older motel with only about 8 to 10 rooms on two floors. It is in a quiet area along Baskins Creek within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg and very convenient. It is located in an area of Gatlinburg that is a combination of vacation condos/motels/cabins and residential. There is a small Honduran store that backs up...

First off, there are sketchy immigrants at the store next door who stare at the hotel that's not kid friendly. There are no curtains on the windows so bring those too and no phone so hope you have a cell to call 911 when the immigrants come after you. They only give you one towel to use and nobody is...

We've been staying here for family vacation every year for over 10 years now. The rooms are nice and clean and while it's not a 5 star ultra modern hotel, it's perfect for a good stay on a family budget in the Smokies. The Hotel is tucked back on Baskins Creek Road and is in a very quiet and less...

Stayed for a few days in one of the cabins and it was great! Very rustic, homey feel to it. Lots of room for us and the kids and all of our stuff. Kitchen was a plus, so we didn't have to eat out all the time. Easy walk from the cabin to the Parkway, too. Next time we're in...

Rooms are decorated like cabins on the inside. Great prices. Off beating path, but close enough to walk to town. I'll never stay anywhere else!!!

Horrific Service! This was our 1st time to Gatlinburg and wished we stayed somewhere else. I saw the ad for this hotel through Gatlinburg.com. The pictures on the website were nice and the reviews sounded ok. However, when I tried to reserve online, the site wouldn't let me. When I tried to call, there was no answer and was surprised...

It was in walking distance to downtown, clean, very comfy beds, and the decor was beautiful!! The we stayed in the family suite and...

The Smoky Pines Motel has been recently renovated and is absolutely adorable. The new owners spared no expense on the decor and bedding! The mattress and pillows were the softest ever. The only disappointment was the bathroom. Overall they were clean but the amount of caulking used to level the comode and to correct the bath drain was very disappointing....
