I have been going to Gatlinburg for about 40 + years. Love the town and the people and I have stayed in several different hotels and motels . I love the Gatlinburg Inn, its homey with friendly people. The entire motel is cleaner than any other I have ever stayed in. I always enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching...

Gatlinburg and the Gatlinburg Inn are easy to love and it is wonderful to know that you choose the Gatlinburg Inn for your lodging needs when visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. The balconies and rockers are waiting for you. We hope you will visit us again soon here at the Historic Gatlinburg Inn.

It is a lovely, quaint hotel in the heart of Gatlinburg. Great parking at front of hotel, cute outdoor fire with rocking chairs and staff are incredibly welcoming. Our room was comfortable with balcony overlooking lovely scenery, but the walls are a little thin, and as a family hotel in an area where people vacation it tends to get busy...

Thank you for your TripAdvisor review and thanks also for mentioning my staff. I have said a thousand times that a General Manager is only as good as their staff and I have been blessed with the best. Your thanks were passed on to the young lady in question and she said that you are very welcome. We hope that...

This hotel is such a delightful experience. The age only enhances it's charm. I loved the atmosphere and location. Their wonderful breakfast was delicious surprise. The staff proved very friendly and helpful.

Such a charming historic property located in downtown Gatlinburg within perfect walking distance to everything. The front desk staff were extremely friendly. The Inn is welcoming and inviting. The rooms have an "old time feel" to them. The only thing that bothered me was that it didn't feel super clean. There were hairs in the bathroom, and the carpets seemed...

Thank you for your recent comments. I am sorry though that your stay wasn't enjoyable. All of the rooms have new carpeting, bedding, draperies and flat screen tv's with a little over half of the bathrooms being redone with new fixtures and tile. In addition the lobby and front desk are new with hard wood flooring. Again, we are sorry...

You stay at the Gatlinburg Inn because you like the feel of the place. The comfortable wood and leather furniture. The warmth of the paneling on the walls. The glow of vintage lighting. Huge historic prints of the National Park on every wall. Meticulous attention has been given by the staff as they run the hotel from day to day,...

The hotel is immaculate. The wooden floors gleamed. All the bathrooms and been re-done and the comforter and sheets were white. The rooms were a tab small and every now and then you would catch a whiff of must but that seems natural for a hotel built in 1936, quaint and charming. The staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was...

Old and we wanted an updated bathroom but they didn't have one available. The room was clean but our sliding glass door to the outside didn't lock. The rooms are very small. Everyone is very nice that works there. The only major problem is they charged me twice and it has been almost a week and I have talked to...

You have to take it (and love it) for what it is. It's an old historic hotel. If your looking for a modern room with all the bells and whistles, you should probably go somewhere else. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Inn has tons of community space in the lobby to relax by the fire. The central location...

There is a lot of history at this hotel, starting in the 1930's. It is in the middle of tourist Gatlinburg, next to the Ski Lift. The Lobby and Common areas are nice, you can sit on the porch next to a fireplace or in one of the common areas if you like. You get the feel of a park...
