Our guide, Azzadine, took us to this hotel for one night as part of a 3 day trip. Driving through the little village, we had no idea what to expect. The building is very traditional, food was delicious, room with ensuite clean an comfortable. We felt so lucky to have stayed here and would highly recommend it to travellers who...

Very peaceful location with lovely rooms in the heart of the Ziza oasis. Excellent welcoming supper. We were given a guided tour by our host of the oasis with pomegranates, almonds, dates, figs and so on. Not to be missed.

A lovely Berber guest house set in a date palm oasis on the outskirts of the desert. The rooms are comfortable, food is great and the owner is a delightful man. Better to arrive during daylight as the area is very remote.

Maison Zouala may be a liitle bit off the beaten track, but it's definitely worth a stop!! The building is a classical Moroccan style house which lies inside an idyllic palm grove... The service is really friendly and you'll forget that some of the rooms are not the most comfortable... as soon as you enter the dining room!! All food...

Arriving via the dusty desertscape from Er-Rachidia it was stunning to look down into a river of green - the Ziz palmery. Maison d'hote Zouala was located in the middle of this, and was an authentic Kasbah. It was a big place, built with mudbricks (adobe) and gloomily atmospheric inside. There was no aircon (not to be expected in a...

We stayed one night at Zouala. A pleasure! The owner was waiting for us at his spot overlooking the palmerie. He has a tent and 'cafe' besides the autoroute to Erfoud, with the most beautiful overview on the palmerie of Zouala. His place in the palmarie is authentic and charming. The food is good, the hospitality as well. Room are...

This lovely little place is situated off the road between Errachidia and Erfoud. The drive from errachidia until that point is through rather boring dusty plains and then there is suddenly a view of a palm valley to the left and Zouala is there, hidden away in a lush oasis. The guest house is dark and cool, nicely decorated in...
