I would recommend the higher floors in one of the towers. Be prepared to wait on long elevator times though. The pool will be open both indoors and out. There is a little café in the lobby that serves Starbucks. There are lots of conventions held at this hotel so there will always be a lot of people no matter what time of year you go. I have stayed there several times and always enjoy the experience. There is a huge mall within walking distance with a pretty expansive food court.
