This is a quaint little Hotel. Very clean and relatively inexpensive. Although this is not my first stay there, it is always my choice when I go home to Greensboro to visit Family and Friends. The furnishings and décor may be a little dated, but they're all very clean, and the service was excellent. This was a personal trip for...

Spent five nights at this hotel. Quite and peaceful but a little bit worn. The beds are ok but not more. Very noicy aircondition. Breakfast far below average. Price i little bit to high. Overall its ok for a short stay.

This is a smaller hotel surrounded by many small shops and restaurants. Hotel is very nice, clean, everything works. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is very helpful and pleasant. Continental style breakfast gets your day going. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Battleground Inn while in Greensboro for business. The hotel is obviously old, but was reasonably clean. The carpet was matted in the hallways and to a lesser degree in the room. The bed was not very comfortable. The mattress was firm and had a plastic feel under the sheets. The bathroom fixtures were dated and the...

I have been staying at this hotel for over a decade. It is getting a bit long in tooth but it is a known quantity and the staff is very accommodating. I will therefore continue to accept that it is no longer quite what it once was.

The only good thing about this place is it is very close to The Women's Hospital. The bed felt like you were sleeping on concrete. There was a draft coming in around the air conditioning unit. Being close to the ice machine was loud.

We wanted a reasonable place close to the highway we needed to be on in the morning, and this was just fine. It was clean and quiet. The bed was fine. We did not partake of the breakfast...but it looked to have few choices. The property is quite dated, but certainly sufficient for our needs.

They lost our reservation making me feel like we could not stay there after driving 11 hours. I asked if there was a problem with us staying there considering the parking lot was emptyand he said no and assigned a room to us. We were there with a wedding group and we were all scattered throughout the hotel. Weird because...

Some friends and I traveled to Greensboro on a Saturday night for a girls night and made a reservation at the Battleground Inn. When I checked in the front desk clerk asked for my identification to confirm my booking. It wasn't until later in the afternoon when my girlfriends and I were about to leave for dinner that I realized...

The room was clean, but that was where it ended. The bedding is dated. We slept in what felt like Fred Flintstone's bed. It was hard as a rock. The pillows were flat. We would have watched TV but it did not work. I did see a USB type cable hanging down which I assume was to the TV, but...

“Call ahead to make sure they have your reservations. We made ours online, and they didn't report having it when we checked in. That was no problem, as it was a low-occupancy time. But at busier times, it might have been worrisome.”
