We were in a hard situation with my brother. He was slated to go to rehab on Monday, but needed a place to stay Friday-Monday. I called and spoke with the manager. Without telling our whole life story, he did the best he could to get my brother in for the weekend. The room looked great and the beds were comfy. As a life time resident of Gulf Breeze, I had noticed the upgrades made and how wonderful the hotel looked, but I had no Idea the compassion of the manager. He helped us when it felt like the cards were stacked against us. I couldn’t recommend the gulf Coast inn more it’s great for a quick stay and the staff makes it even better! Thanks for everything

We arrived relatively late and had a very pleasant check-in. The cottage wasn’t quite what we expected as we shared a wall with other guests. Unfortunately, the people on the other side of the wall ended up being incredibly bad neighbors. They smoked late into the night just outside our door, then blasted music all night and well into the morning. The music didn’t stop until 7:00 am or so, so we didn’t have a very good night’s sleep at all. The room itself was fine. It was comfortable and reasonably priced for an overnight stay. I’m not sure I’d want to stay much longer than that, but it was good for our purposes. - The PowerTrippers

We had lots of fun staying at Gulf Coast Inn. It's just a quick 5 minute drive to Pensacola Beach. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do. Jonathan (manager) and Ana Marie (housekeeper) work very hard to do their job right and make sure you are satisfied. It seems like family when you stay here. Loved the room decor and walk-in shower. Only 2 steps into the rooms on the main level. We were able to load and unload a lot faster being able to park right by the front door. We wanted to take a swim in the pool but the weather was too windy and cold. We felt safe staying here. We talked to several people staying here. They were good people. We will definitely visit here again.

Is what it is. I was clean and AC did work. Very, small bathroom. Think cruise ship. Ask at front desk in advance for room service each day, otherwise they don’t come to your room. Residents rush to save pool chairs in the morning and don’t sit there till the afternoon. Breakfast is 100% carbs, so we didn’t partake. No eggs or protein. In summary, the property is beat up. In the end it worked, but we would not go back.

Totally renovated inside and out - cant beat the rate and the location. Jonathan was excellent takes pride in his property was out there with his staff cleaning was available to assist through entire stay. air conditioner loud, yes, but a lot of places same issue - not a deal breaker. would recommend brining slippers for floors ( no carpet), there is sand - but you're near the beach, what do you expect? ! Would stay again - no hesitation

The door locks were upside down , door had biog gaps around it when closed and locked , shower water was barely warm and low pressure , sink hot and cold were reversed , hair on toilet , outdoors at night was lit up like a football stadium with these ridiculously bright LED lights on the front of every unit which was great if you wanted to sit outside and relax after dark , satellite TV stations were a mess - several were fuzzy and poor picture quality , a couple of the outdoor super bright LED lights were bad and strobing all night long , for the quality of the place the rooms are a little overpriced ............ parking was good , front office was nice .... Rooms were fairly nice just whoever their remodeling contractor was half assed several things like the shower faucet and sink faucet ...... WIFI was crappy too !! Thats about it…

The place has been completely updated. All the rooms are updated, the pool is nice and inviting. Management is super friendly and #Blueline friendly. Great locally owned place and close to several great places to eat. Also close to the beach without paying through the nose!

I wish I could give zero stars! The room was disgusting and dirty! The comforter was dirty - so I was going to pull that off and not use it - but when I pulled the comforter down, I discovered there were long hairs on the sheets, and they looked wrinkled, as if they had not been changed. We requested a new set of sheets, and changed the bed ourselves. In addition, someone else's hair was all over the shower and floor! And the air conditioner vent was covered in a thick layer of dust! When we spoke to the manager, we were told we'd be given a very significant discount once he spoke to the owners. However, rather than them following up with me, I had to call multiple times to get a response, at which point, they offered a $50 discount... which would mean paying almost $200 for a dirty, disgusting room... where we had to make our own bed. I told the front desk clerk this was unacceptable and to please see what more could be done - she never called back. Since then, I have called repeatedly, but they don't answer my call (they have caller ID). I finally got tired of dealing with this unprofessional and unscrupulous hotel staff... and took up the matter with my credit card company! Do not stay here unless you like sleeping in filth!…

Gulf Coast Inn is the Florida your parents took you to in the 70's... It has great retro feel with a poolside tiki bar, catwalks to your room, happy hours and hopping with good folks who still value a hotel with its own vibe Super cool spot. Get it before it's gone...

Please ignore old reviews on Gulf Coast Inn! This Inn has a new owner and has been completely renovated. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable with high end finishes; granite countertop, beautiful tile and comfortable bedding. The manager and one employee who we encountered were both extremely helpful and friendly. The neighborhood felt safe and although it is located on a busy street, it is quiet. There is a Publix located right across the street and also nice restaurants close. Consider staying at this hotel, you will not be disappointed!
