Great location round the corner from the public ferry and bus station. Lovely heritage home that's seen better days We stayed in the air con room a seperate annex with our two young children. The room was large and clean with a small table and chairs perfect for the kids. Unfortunately we couldn't get the wifi though. Breakfast is simple...

We enjoyed our stay. Old house with interesting features. We opted for a two night houseboat trip. Boat is smaller than most and for a lot of the time we were well away from other houseboats in backwaters. Food was great.

We had heard good things about this homestay, but it turned out to be quite average. The bungalow itself is great, and possibly a heritage building, but owner Tony John seems to be bored of looking after it. Once he has checked you in, he disappears, and there is no one else in the homestay except other guests. We had...

It's a beautiful old house and restored well to meet modern needs. Little porches in front and back offer a breather from Alleppey's frenetic boat & road traffic, despite its convenient walking distance to the boat jetty. Homestay can also fix up your backwater boat trip, though the route here is dull. Kollam is better. That said, Tony is the...

Best place in Kerala till now. Toni is such a nice host and really helpful. He checked a fantastic canoe-trip for me and I paid less than all the others on the boat. The homestay is in a lovely villa in colonial-style with a tastful interior and there is courtyard inside the house. WiFi is ok. Highly recommended - thx...

When I travel I look for and wish to find a place that has some historical charm and character, authenticity and beauty, and where I can feel inspired by its surrounding. And because I quite often travel for a long period of time I search for a place that feels homely. This place has it all. It is set just...

We were given the choice of 2 rooms. We chose one of the front rooms. The room is quite spacious with air con and a comfortable bed. We didn't have hot water. Wifi in the common area. Very close to the bus station, but go by rickshaw to the beach. Tony is very lovely and helpful! His houseboat was the...

The Cherukara nest was everything we expected and more. Tony greeted us with the warmest smile even though it was late in the evening. We were given a choice of two rooms which was nice (no need to settle), both of which were very spacious and well furnished for the price. The entire space is incredibly clean and beautiful. We...

Lovely little homestay in Alleppey, very convenient for accessing the houseboats at finishing point. Tony is a fantastic host and makes you feel very welcome. Good rooms, air conditioning, solid breakfast. Very peaceful and also easy to find as close to the bus station (which all auto drivers know). Good wifi as well.

We stayed here twice at the beginning and end of our Keralan backwater adventure. This is a lovely homestay, clean and well equipped room, good value for money, and Tony was very helpful and friendly. It is in a convenient location very close to the bus terminal, ferry terminal and central bazaar but on a quieter backstreet. We highly recommend...
