We loved our stay at Pamba Heritage. Our room was traditional, just what we want when travelling to new lands. The location, on the banks of the backwaters was just to die for, laying in the hammocks watching the boats go by....... We walked the banks of the canal into the local shopping area, chatted to the local people, just...

We had three nights here in Jan and slowed right down to match the laid back atmosphere. Right beside a lovely river and at the back of the villa, an excellent sunrise over the rice padi fields. It's about an 800 metre walk along the water to the small village of Nedemundi where there is a small market and you...

We were there during the new year peak period and were astonished at the overpriced houseboats. Fortunately we found the Pamba Heritage Villa which offers so much more. We had a lovely time chatting with the owner Rajeev who is very hospitable and kind. The food we chose to have was the local Kerala cuisine, and we were very pleased...

My partner and I spent a wonderful night at Pamba Heritage Villa and enjoyed every minute. Rajeev was so friendly and helpful - he even drove to town so that our driver could follow him down the windy backroads to his place. We loved just relaxing in the garden watching the houseboats go by. His mother cooked us a fantastic...

I stayed at the Pamba Heritage Villa for one night during a 8-night tour of Kerala. This property is simply beautiful. I loved how I had to take a little canoe to first reach the place! And I was amazed at the grounds when the canoe first pulled up alongside the property. The house had been built by the owner's...

This place is clearly not for nightlife/partying or anyone looking for the typical bustling Indian city atmosphere - this is where you come afterwards to cool down! It has been described in all sorts of detail already so I will list my very personal impressions: Sitting in the garden and watching the day go by on the river easily beats...

We stayed here just for one day (wish I had stayed more )and had a wonderful time. Our room overlooked the backwaters and it had a wonderful balcony which had a beautiful view. You could enjoy watching slowly moving houseboats, fishermen in their snake boats, flying birds right from the bed. And the place is clean and comfortable. They have...

Was right on the backwaters and had a great time exploring them from here. Its got a great garden with hammocks and the rooms are lush. The owner will take you out and show you the sights around. Theyre all very friendly there.

We stayed here over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The accommodation is extremely clean and comfortable with open air en-suite facilities. The garden is immaculate with hammocks strung out among the coconut tres where you can lie and watch daily life unfold along the river. Breakfast and lunch are taken in the shade, in the garden, and dinner at...
