We stayed here for two days in two different rooms. Day1: As we were to arrive late we had chosen AC double room, which turned out to be a disaster as the AC was not working. The room was old and needed maintainance. Day2: We stayed in one of there VIP cottages, which was good, it had two bed room...

Location: Lodge is inside the Vivekanand Kedra. Great place. Plenty of green surrounding. There are various staying options. For this you have to book online. Cottages are best places to stay. Other staying options are AC/non AC double/triple rooms and dormitories. We stayed in AC triple rooms. Rooms are big with three separate beds. Clean bed covers. AC is working...

The campus is huge and beautiful. I had stayed in the cottage which is a lovely private bunglow only from the outside. Inside while the bed and other furniture is ok, the bathroom are old and horrible. It old and hasnt been done in decades. The towels were dirty and stained. However the staff is very good and the canteen...

Great serene place. We felt a night's stay was not enough to see the entire campus. The in-house restaurant was good. The private sun rise beach which is 10 mins walk from the reception was wonderful. My non AC double room was clean and neat and served our purpose. Thank you Vivekananda Kendra. It was my first visit to Kanyakumari...

Rooms were good as compared with there tariffs, there is lot of greenery in the campus and that will make your day beautiful. The beds are old fashioned. A silent place which has there own beach which is clean and tidy. The rooms are small, however the washrooms are big. Every AC room is equipped with a Mosquito Net which...

Nothing shanti about the accommodation here, full on noisey inconsiderate families who the centres 'quiet times' do not apply too. Western seekers do not go without highest rating db earplugs. Rooms noisy, good, basic, clean and ok, mattresses good. The grounds are ok, aspirations of the centre's founders good too, but...........it's definitely NOT an ashram in the true sense of...

First to mention, kindly do not expect this place to be a commercial hotel. This is an Ashram with travellers stay facility @very decent cost. We have stayed in cottage for 3 days. I would say it's completely different experience all together. Sprawled over 100 acres, Vivekananda kendra is around 1 km from kanyakumari railway station. Full of greeneries, this...

We stayed at the Vivekananda Kendra for 2 nights. We had book a cottage as we were 5 of us ( 2 families). The cottage was sprawling and very well maintained. AC,hot water, everything was working fine and couldnt ask for anything more. Very peaceful place, near to beach and other city attractions. Kendra has a restaurant within its premises...
