How do you beat being this close to the ocean. I hate to say it but this place is awesome. The rooms are fare but the location is amazing. You can hear the waves breaking while you are in bed. Walk out the door and there is the best beach in Amed. They are slowly remodeling the rooms and honestly...

A must stay in Amed. Peaceful & relaxing. Just walk out of your clean sizeable bungalow into some of the BEST snorkelling ever! Stunning coral and a myriad of tropical fish. An artists smorgasbord of colour P.S. Don't forget to buy the world famous Amed Salt

Sweet little hotel right on the beach. Crashing waves 10 metres from your room . For $40USD it's amazing value . Nice staff , beautiful clear - Cyrstal clear water, massages avail, food $2-$4 . Incredible value. Sleepy little Amed is a gem. Low key and like the old Bali . I will be back .

A cute little resort located right at THE beach. Once you´re in the water, Vienna Beach offers you the most fantastic snorkeling experience, that you can wish for. You have to be a little careful, though, as the currents may carry you a bit out to sea, if you keep on snorkeling and kinda forget about the time (which happened...

While staying in Candidasa we took a road trip to Amed on the North East side of Bali, a truly amazing place. We did a round trip through Amlipura to see the Tirta Gannga Water Gardens (20,000 IDR entry or approx $2 AUD each) then onto Amed/Vienna Beach on Lipah Bay for snorkelling and lunch, the water was so clear...

This place is right into the beach, if your room is at the floor level, you are literally at 10 meters from the sea with coral reefs, lots of fish so great fun for snorkeling. The food is OK not amazing but for that price it is good. The only big annoyance are the beach boys. Constantly asking if you...

The view from this place is awesome. Beach is right next to the room as if the beach is part of our own yard. The room is spacious with very simple basic amenities. Couldn't expect more for the price we paid. Food in restaurant wasn't bad. It served with genuine hospitality. Water supplied for bathroom were a bit salty. Maybe...

We decided to go to Pondok Vienna Beach after a few hours snorkeling. Service was very slow . Some of our group ordered pizzas but I don't think you could call them that. Essentially a poppadom with chopped tomatoes and a blob of cheese for over 50,000 rupiah! When we complained the waiter delivered a very well rehearsed speech about...

Have stayed there twice now, and find it a good place to be. Overall the standards are good. They clean the rooms everyday, and the bed linen and towels are changed every 2/3 days, so no complaints there. The staff are mostly friendly and chatty expect one or two who are a bit strange. But hey, you get that wherever...
