This is a great place to stay whether you stay short term or long term. They have 2 private rooms on the beach and a couple other rooms. We stayed here for 6 months and there’s no other place I would want to stay. I loved watching the ocean while I cooked and listening to the waves all day. The owner Vicki is great, very informative on any questions you may have and the staff is always there when you need them. This will be the only place I come stay if I ever go back to Amed.
If you are looking for a place on (literally ON) the beach the Chez kin is the place! You can hear the sea from you room and going on the beach is exactly 2/3 seconds! The room is really nice, nice atmosphere and has everything you need. We went to fish mackerel In the morning and the owner of the Chez grilled it for us, and gave us rice, salsa and vegetable with it. We had lunch together, he is really social and kindly! Always there to help and with good advise. Close to the place there is a nice restaurant called green lemon warung where you can have nice cocktail, delicious seafood & curry, and the owner (again super nice and helpful) can arrange a day snorkling or ocean fishing where you can catch really giant monsters! Also boats to gili.
Dammet good place! So cozy, small, only 3 rooms hiding in the garden. Rooms are big. Just two steps from the beach and no people here. I got biggest room with AC and own terrace and I really love it. I even have another one bed on terrace, so can really relax, look and hear at the sea. Servise very nice too, owner so friendly and look very good person. And for this price, I just cannot believe how lucky I am! I love this place, will always stay here when in Amed
This homestay is situated immediately on the left after the road enters Amed and turns to the right to follow the coastline. Only 3 rooms, nr 1 is superb just on the beach, nice staf. They can arrange everything for you: transport, trips etc. We made a snorkeling trip with the father of one of the girls. A very small fishingboat took us to the bay of Jemeluk, it was superb. The room is big enough, bathroom standard, the door can't be closed anymore. Very nice good quality mosquitonet, 2 electric fans on each side of the bed. And that is good because the room can get quite hot. The breakfast is a choice between toast, pancake. No fruitsalade but a fruitjuice. Early in the morning you can hear the sounds of the fishing community preparing to go out: voices, music. And the rest of the day you can hear on teh background the sounds from the road about 75 m away. Amed is a nice village, as Bali was before. You live in the community and see them playing, praying, fishing etc.…
This is the most northern part of Ahmed, away from the most tourist-y parts. Its incredibly beautiful with the volcano behind you and right on the beach. The front room is the only one with AC and it fronts the beach. Very clean, very simple but nice. The staff was warm and friendly. We loved it, very quiet, peaceful and stunningly beautiful.
Excellent location: a group of bungalows with private terrace set in a pretty garden on the lava beach of Amed village, close to the main drag with restaurants, bars and shops going to Jemeluk, yet far enough not to be disturbed by the constant flow of motorbikes, shuttles and taxis. Beautiful, clean and spacious rooms with attached bathrooms. The standard rooms (with fan only) can get extremely hot though, also during the night.
We spent six nights at Chez Kin, a small cosy accommodation with 3 bungalows, direct access to the beach where fishermen work and live close by. The staff is very kind and helpful. They provided us a motorbike and quickly replaced a broken router. As I was working during my stay I appreciated their ability to solve the problem. One of the girls invited us to join her for a ceremony which I loved. Definitely recommended.
Terry peacock Australia Chez kin is a small hotel of only 3 rooms, 2 with fans, 1 with aircon ... the owner Nyoman is on site and there for your every need, he speaks great English and has a great knowledge of the area and things to do on your dtay ... we have stayed here 3 times now, we just love this little place right on the beach 😊 we always ask for the front room which is the closest to the water which is aporoximatly 20 meters from our front door, we listern to the waves crashing in day and night, its perfect place to unwind ... our room is huge 32 sqm we have a king 4 poster bed wardrobe, TV with many channels some English too, plus the dvd player with dvds provided, the bathroom isnt small the shower is over the bath and we never ran out of hot water, our terrace is bigger than our room with seating area and table plus a double day bed and an outdoor kitchen area, we bring our own kettle $2,50 from hardys as im a tea aholic lol ... the rooms are serviced daily by wayan and komang 2 beautiful girls and nothing is too much bother even when i wake at lunch time they are there ready to take my breakfast order, which consists of eggs toast and jam or banana pancakes which i have now become addicted too, God help my scales at home haha, plus you get a choice of tea or coffee and a plate of mixed fruit 😊 you can have coffee or tea all day but do bring your own milk if you like that ... there is free wifi also and we rent a scooter from the owner or one of the girls. ... my hubby is up at daybrake he walks 20 steps and hes on the beach watching the fishermen in their boats unload their catch ... there are little shops and great eating places within walking distance. .. the only thing this hotel doesn't have is a pool, but the sea is at your doorstep and if you go up the road a little you can go snorkeling, the fish are plenty as are the corals ... we love this place and its people 😙 and its very ecconomical which means we get to stay in beautiful Bali longer ❤…
An excellent and cheap place to stay in Amed. Located at Amed entrance, there are 3 private and nicely built bungalows, with terraces and a peaceful garden. Want to go to the beach? Just leave from the backdoor to end up on the black sand beach where there are long chairs. The breakfast is good, the staff smiling (they can help you to get a taxi if necessary) and the Wi-Fi works well, so it's hard to ask for more!
The position is just off (easy walk) the main drag, right on the beach, comfortable clean room, friendly staff, lovely breakfast delivered to the veranda. They can arrange bike hire and drivers as required, bargained for the price and got a decent deal. Don't buy your water or beer here go to the shop but great value at 300,000 p/n
