We were a little dissapointed by this hotel after reading all the reviews on here. We arrived about 3pm in the afternoon after a long drive. We were shown to our room which was the Paradiso Villa. The room was 2 storey bungalow setup, it was right by the beach but badly setup in my opinion. The Sari Sunrise bungalow...

Wow....apologies you were so disappointed with Life in Amed....the Paradsio Villa is the larger of the two that are directly beachfront, 2 storey dwellings..I built this for myself and my son, so have had many good times there and many families enjoy the extra space the Paradiso provides. There is a comfortable living room, rattan furniture, paintings and brightly coloured...

life in amed is a good quality stay, good rooms, smallish pool, good service and food. it is set on the shoreline. you may say that being on the coast is ideal with all the boats lined up but .. try to get one of the owners to take you on a trip around the bay, forget it. they tell...

Hello...wow 2 bad reviews back to back, so I feel like it's time to respond....overall your review states GOOD several times, good quality, good rooms, good food, good service....so I am glad you experienced the hospitality of my staff and overall had a good time with us.... except for the fishermen, yes, they have a collective, so they can all...

This place is blissfull. We spent 5 nights here in October and it was a wrench to leave. We had bungalow 5, which can sleep 4, with 2 beds in upstairs mezzanine (not suitable for toddlers as stairs are large and open with gaps instead of risers). This chic, small hotel is nestled amongst local fishing huts and goes straight...

We spent two nights in late September and could have easily stayed longer were it not for flights. After some major resort time it was a relief and delight to be in a small hotel that is right on the beach and right in a village that is not solely reliant on tourism. You are really part of the life...

Thank you for your review of Life in Amed...your words describe perfectly a stay with us and the experiences one may have....there are some beautiful moments here, especialy the simplicity. Also for children, there are many growth moments learning to swim or playing with the local children on the beach...glad you enjoyed the Paradiso villa and your visit with us...

We enjoyed our 4 nights here. The grounds/garden is beautifully maintained, and the bungalows are somewhat secluded behind shrubs. The front door and window coverings were beautifully carved and colorful. Each bungalow had different colors. The room was rather plain but adequate with stairs leading up to another room with twin beds. Perfect for a family. A big container of...

We stayed in the Perfumed Garden 3 bedroom villa. It was big enough to comfortably house 7 people, right on the beach, spacious garden with lounging chairs, swimming pool, food served at our massive dining table and massages in the garden. Snorkelling straight off the beach and boat trips available to other snorkelling spots (ask on the beach for Ketut...

This hotel is very different than the other resorts on Bali. The concept is small, intimate. A small number of houses, clean, spaceous with two stories. Upstairs extra two beds. Shower outside, nice balkony, very charming. The swimmingpool is quite small, but there are not so many visitors anyway, so most of the times you will be on your own...

Im sitting here on our last morning of our stay at Life in Amed. We are having breakfast in the dining area even though we could have it in the villa. I do find the living area in the villa a little hot in the morning sun. We got up early this morning and saw the sun rise over Lombok...

Life in Amed was such a blessing to stay at. The photos on here and the website look amazing but to be there it really is something else. We stayed in the Beach House which is absolutely huge! Three couples were delighted when we saw the Balinese villa we had rented. Our own pool, waiters for drinks and food on call. The beach front house was all we could have hoped for in simplicity, position and ease of living. The locals were keen to please and earn a few extra Rp. We enjoyed in so much we are booked again next...
