My friend and I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, the relaxed atmosphere and spectacular view the place offered. Not really negative but travelers need to know that the hotel is very remote from major civilization. In particular at night, you cannot quickly take a scooter to do some shopping or go for dinner as you might get lost (cell reception is a little spotty in particular if you rely on google navigation). However, the hotel has a mini store and a restaurant with excellent food.

The setting is magical but unfortunately this hotel is past its sell by date. I can imagine it being a charming retreat once upon a time. The rooms were tatty leafs poking through the ceiling, hot water not working, the towels looked tired and I can keep going on. We decided to have a massage which was so disappointing and underwhelming not to be recommended. The staff are friendly and kind but just need a bit of professional training. This hotel could be so much more, it just needs some love and attention to bring it up to standard.

We booked the destination because of it's view & to calm down a bit in a less touristic area. Indeed the view was great although not all cottages got direct view. But you can sit at the terrace & relax. Morning yoga at 7am was the highlight (but I am not an yoga expert ;-) ). Everything went well w/o problems. Just think about that there is not much else in the surrounding area so you will prefer having dinner in the hotel. Room was basic, but clean.

What a delightful place! I stayed here for a yoga retreat - 4 days/ 3 nights and I loved it! The little cottages were lovely and the views were spectacular! The staff were so helpful and the food was simple, traditional Indonesian food. Yes - you do get a few insects inside but it is in tropical forest in the mountains.

This small hotel is located on top of a hill, with an exceptional view on the surrounding nature. The hotel is growing vegetables in the hill around the hotel. They’re using the produce of their farm for the kitchen, so the same dish can be slightly different from day to day. The restaurant is quite good, however does not have much variety - after 2/3 days we felt we had tried everything we wanted to try. Villas are spacious and comfortable. Very few mosquitoes. On the downside: internet was slow and unreliable (sometimes down for a few hours). Besides, there’s not much to do around, so it’s really a place to relax / chill.

When I booked it, i let them know that it would be a late check in. However, when we finally arrived, there was no one in reception. We didn't have local mobile phone to contact them. Luckily, my driver was very kind to call them for us. But after the staff came, we found out that she could NOT understand English. We needed to keep our driver for half hour more to be a translator. Anyway, half hour later, we finally could enter our room. BUT, the room was NOTHING like the pictures online. And, there were more than hundred dead insects in the bathroom. It was terrible. The staff didn't do anything about it, the only thing she did was asking us to wait till next morning for her manager. Disappointed.

Well, where do I start. Few minutes after check in, I found a big spider in the bathroom, and all of the staff are nowhere to be found because they are closed. The first morning they are running out of hot chocolate, then when I try to ask the waiter told me that Indomart (local mini market) is running out of hot chocolate, so are they. The breakfast options wasn't so bad, but the taste .. well, you better bring your own salt and pepper. I only eat the bread by the way. In the evening, they offer me dinner, but I declined. Then I decided to have some snack, which I order is fries, and it sliced potatoes. I don't understand why they can't buy a frozen french fries and decided to sliced potatoes instead. Second day, they still don't have hot chocolate for breakfast, same issue and I decided to have breakfast in the room. I only order sunny side up and bread, because that's the only thing I can eat. Check out ! They were not able to charged my credit card because the wifi wasn't good and I offer them bank transfer, I can transfer right away and send them the receipt but the reception have no idea if they can accept payment by bank transfer. Then after few times swiping my card, it finally success. The good thing is : The view is incredible !

We've been here for just 2 days escape. We are amazed by the view and the cold ambience, and the gardening. 15 minutes drive from Baturity main road. Room view was also very nice but however I found that the room is not safe electrically. Some plugs and sockets showing the open cables. Some plugs and socket is not sticking in the wall. The worst part is when i flush the toilet, it bounce back. Staffs is very humble but they really need a training in serving a guest. There were tea and coffee maker outside our room but the dont wash the used glass by other guest for 2 days. They put the. The staffs also has a dog and let it roaming around, sniffing my girl which so scared of dogs. The worst part is when they always carry the food under the rain without any cover ( I advised them but they ignored ) I was shocked when I ordered a fries, then came a sliced potato. I saw the young lady ( i think she is the manager because she is in and out from the kitchen ) busy with a phone call and taking selfie, not even say a single hi to us. Breakfast? On the first day we ordered scramble eggs and omelette. Bot came so oily like they put so much oil. Scramble eggs only taste onion and over salt, as well as the omelette. The next day we ordered sunny side up and fried rice. The egg was overcookee and salty. Fried rice has no chicken as it said on the menu, and it is so oily. Also, they were running out of hot chocolate because the nearest Indomaret is running out of chocolate. My recommendation? Do think twice. If you think you're paying expensive for the view and forgetting any other things, go ahead and take one bedroom villa. If you still want a nice service not just the view, forget about this place.

Beautifully located and wonderfully remote bespoke hotel set in the mountains and jungles. Serene and calm thus was just what we needed from the hustle and bustle of cities. Looking out from our room at night and only seeing one other light was amazing. We had a beautiful short trek (take a guide!) through the jungle to the hot springs with our guide Putu who pointed out local plants and some birds. We tried the morning yoga which was fabulous. Food was simple but tasty. Especially the breakfast pancakes and the fresh local coffee was to die for. Last but not least the hotel organised an excellent driver in an immaculate car to take us to our next destination. Would absolutely stay again.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful setting with a splendid view over rice fields. The rooms are very large and comfortable. They have large windows and your bed you can admire the nature and the rice fields. The staff is extremely friendly. You will appreciate the kindness and the good dishes prepared by Suti as well as the massages of Ilou. Yoga lovers can enjoy the very good morning classes. The hotel has a motorbike that you can rent to visit the region and especially the UNESCO protected jaliluwih rice fields, hot springs, and lakes! We will come back !
