No frills value for money hotel. Good location on the beach in a nice bay. Small pool with only 3 or 4 loungers but it is nicer on the beach anyway. The staff was friendly apart from one guy at breakfast who was a bit grumpy. Breakfast tended to run out of options as the morning went on.

The beautiful garden next door has now been built on and a rather unattractive wall has been built to separate the two different establishments. Even so Bali Bhuana still has that amazing direct beach frontage and beautiful view from the pool and dining area. We have been coming to Lipah since 1993 and it still holds a fascination for us....

Staff were so beautiful and friendly, always with a smile. Loved the pool, beachside and Made (hiring snorkel gear on the beach out front) was a lovely guy. Bathroom could do with a lick of paint, but bed was SO comfortable and filtered water in the room (#4) was a bonus. Highly recommend!

Terrible place! Very bad welcome, a woman and a man in the reception, no simile at all. Once in my room I realize there are no bathroom towels, I just needed a shower after a long journey . They make me wait and then gave me one single DIRTY towel!!!! I started complaining and asked to talk to manager or...

The location of this small resort is great, right on the peaceful Lipah beach, next to nice coral reef. You actually don't have to go any further to snorkle. The pool is bwry nice, the view is fantastic! If you are travelling with small kids, you should know that is also very deep, over 1.5 m in every place. We...

This is a very nice property situated right on the beach. It is small compact resort with good quality rooms. Not much difference between standard and deluxe. Staff is helpful and reasonable food in the restaurant. It also has a small refreshing pool. Snorkelling is reasonable with coral not so good but plenty of small colourful fish. If you walk...

The hotel is a little way from the main area of Amed, but as we were diving with White Sands Diving just across the road, it was the perfect location for us. We had a standard room on the top floor, with breakfast included in our room charge, which was very reasonable. The rooms were very big, with a small...

I wasted 2 days of my trip to Bali in this area. I only went to Amed for proclaimed snorkeling. The water was like a trash container. And hundreds of jellyfish. People selling snorkel gear on beach kept saying "no sting" "sting no big deal" "you go that way" "pay for snorkel". So as I began to wade through the...

Having written two previous reviews and then reading of the noise from the building next door I was concerned about my latest visit. Yes it is a shame that a lot of the beautiful lawns and gardens have been replaced by a wall and another small group of villas on the other side. However we were pleased that garden plantings...
