This is a basic 3 star hotel. The pools are clean but the main pool has thumping loud disco music from 11am till 6pm and glass bottles of beer are consumed endlessly by the young adults at the swim up bar in the pool. Glass bottles are left on the sides of the pool. This hotel might be ok for...

My 15 year old daughter and I recently stayed in the Jayakarta Bali from 19th - 27th December 2014. We absolutely loved it.... If you want brand new, sleek and sterile then this is probably not for you. But if you want a gracious resort on spacious grounds, 3 swimming pools, tennis court, gym, fantastic beach front location, great food,...

We stayed in one of the apartments that adjoin this complex so I cannot comment on the hotel rooms in this resort. The pools seemed quite clean, and there are plenty of sunchairs around the pools, but not a lot of shady areas. There are a lot of people staying at this resort so the pools can get a little...

I have recently holidayed in Bali twice in a 6 week period. The most recent visit I stayed at the Jayakarta and the previous visit at The Stones. To stay at The Jayakarta I paid one third of what I paid for a room at The Stones so to compare The Jayakarta to a 5 star hotel would be unfair....

The Jayakarta in Legian caters for the best of both worlds. It's location down th eves have from Kuta means it is a lot quieter in terms of noise, but still is oy a short cab ride away from Kuta. Alternatively the walk isn't too bad along the beach into Kuta. The accommodation whilst not completely modern is clean and...

I know that you get what you pay for and this is a budget hotel .....but we won't be staying here again! First room we were shown stunk to high heaven of cigarette smoke. It was like someone had sat in the room and chainsmoked for days on end. The guy showing us the room said the smell must have...

Location is great but the rooms are very dark and old. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which is at the rear of the resort in the car park. Too far from pools and restaurant as they are on the beachside or front of the resort. The apartments have a kitchen which consists of a sink & microwave with a...

The grounds, pool area and position are outstanding. The rooms are a bit dated but sufficient in all areas. Serviced daily, breakfast provided was nice. No in room safes but we brought a pacsafe with us. Security at all entrances, not many hawkers near by. Lots of great food options close at Double 6 & in Legian.
