This was the only guest house we found with a beautiful lush garden. You can relax there and enjoy the view over the mountains and rice fields. Staff is super friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable.

Karangsari is located in the quaint village of Munduk. We live in Bali, so were just passing through and staying 1 night. For the price, it was neither more nor less than I imagined it would be, but it certainly didn't set the bar too high for a homestay. The staff is nice & friendly, but the cleanliness was lacking... Really good value and amazing views with a pretty garden, the room is big and modern and very clean, great location and you get breakfast, it's pretty basic but it's ok, the food on the menu is a bit pricey but I never ate here so I can't say if it is worth it, there are many places to eat... Beautiful guesthouse located in Munduk village. Fantastic hosts Newman and Maddy really looked after me. Great coffee in the mornings and stunning views!! Peace and tranquility at its best. Nothing was too much trouble during my stay and I requested a guide to trek with. Putuk was fantastic and gave a brilliant tour around rice fields and waterfalls. Highly recommend... More

We from France traveling to Bali in March 2015 book 3 night in this hotel through our partner in Bali. On the day of check-in we were to fly back to France due to family urgency. Later we found that our payment is not refunded although we have informed them very well. Until end of last July various emails and... More

Like almost all Guesthouses in Munduk also Karang Sari is located directly at the street. But the rooms are facing to the garden and mountains and they are all 1 or 2 floors lower than the street is. So it is not so noisy. Rooms are very clean and have nice view to the garden and balcony. I guess the... More
