Quite a basic accommodation as can be expected from a home stay, however very clean, comfortable and accommodating staff. Food was lovely and service was great. I did find there to be a lack of plug sockets in the room, and the only other wordy was that you can hear everything from the next rooms! There was Wifi in the...

We spent 2 nights here as a lovely escape from noisy Ubud. The rooms were comfortable, the water hot and the service lovely. The main thing to do in Munduk is walk, so come prepared with good shoes and strong calves for the hills. Highly recommend this place as a taste of the old #realbali.

The room here is very basic, some even use a sharing bathroom between 2 rooms. But the scenery from the hotel and just the general atmosphere of the area is really good. Sunset is beautiful from here. The food in the hotel restaurant is quite nice, traditional Balinese menu.

Am I getting old? This place would be great for a young backpacker but I need a bit more pampering these days. I can't argue with the comments on the scenery and am glad that I spent a night here. The staff are great and try really hard to make people happy. Breakfast is the usual egg and fruit based...

The room here was more basic than we expected - dark and bare, and offering little protection against noise or insects. We were unlucky enough to be attacked by flying termites while eating dinner (a rainy season problem I guess) and kept awake at night by the sound of them chewing through the wood (I think - it could have...

We really enjoyed this hotel, because of its Dutch-colonial atmosphere, great views, service with a smile and last but nog least because of the wonderful treks we made. Ask for trekking guide Made Sawika. He is the best: both very knowledgeable about the countryside and good company to boot. He brings lovely sweets that his wife has prepared, which he...

I spent three nights here (planned on 2, but added one because I loved Munduk). The view has been somewhat blocked by construction, but is still good. I had room number 3, right across from the terrace (this room would also work for a family as it has a double bed and one single). I enjoyed sitting on the terrace...

We stayed here for two nights in June. Was a bit above average price but the rooms are clean and the set-up is cosy. Only disadvantages is that the bathrooms are connected and the walls do not reach to the roof so you here everything from the room next to you. The view is great from the restaurant but other...

Amazing location! Perched at the top of a huge valley with magnificent views right across the countryside. Staff are really keen to please even though language barriers are obvious. Traditional food was lovely. The rooms are very traditional, quite basic. If you are expecting something 5 star look elsewhere, but if you want a true Balinese experience then this is...
