It is worth staying here for the view and the helpfulness of the manager. The manager provided trekking guides and spent time talking these through with us. He also helped arranged a taxi service for our jungle trek. Bedroom and balcony were good, however bathroom a little basic. Breakfast hit and miss however the manager remembered that I have a... We stayed two days in Hyang Lala Homestay and actually didn´t want to leave! The rooms are bright, clean and cosy, the view from the balcony is stunning with mountains on the one and the sea on the other side and the balinese breakfast is amazing. There is a hot shower and a mosquito net. But what made our stay... More

Located in the middle of the main road, Hyang Lala was a really nice stay. If you do not look for luxury but are happy with a bed with mosquitos' net and nice terrace with awesome view, you can definitely go there. Owner is an old man who offered us an amazing map to hike around, for free (even if... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Hyang Lala Homestay. We had the twin bed room with moskito net, because we were the last people who had booked. The owner is a very friendly man and he offered us to change the room for the secound night. This was very nice, but we were ok with our room. We asked him... More

We stayed two nights in the hyang lala to explore Munduk at its surroundings. We had room #21 and it was okay. It had a hot shower and an amazing view. For the room itself i would give only 3 stars so why my 4star rating? The owner is very friendly, he helped organize trips, rented us a motorbike, brought... More

Good place when you're on a low budget: cheap and the room is clean and had a balcony. Breakfast included. When I was checking in the owner appear to be super nice, but at the end he tried to kiss me! First 2 times on the cheek, what I already thought was quite strange, but okay. And then he tried... My travel mate and me booked a twin room at Hyang Lala, but upon arrival it turned out they only had a double room left. The man at the reception, probably the owner, expressed his regrets at this and offered to put an extra bed in the room - which I applauded, as my travel mate is over 6 ft... More

In short: just go there! Rooms are spacious and clean. Shower has good hot water. Breakfast is included and changes every day. But this isn't even the best part: the views are just amazing, both from the rooftop terrace and the balkony of the room. The owner is really friendly: came by for a chat and arranged transport to Ubud... More

We spent two nights at this lovely place and can definitely recommend it to everyone who is looking for a nice, quiet, clean and authentic room in beautiful Munduk! The family is very friendly, helping you out with maps and trekking routes, so it is quite easy to explore the waterfalls and rice fields on your own. The rooms are... More

We stayed at Hyang Lala for a few nights but didn't want to leave. The family who runs it is super friendly. They gave us a lot of information about hikes and trips we could do in the area by ourselves. When we tried to leave with public transport and it didn't worked out, they helped us out by teaming...
