My husband and I stayed at Medewi Bay Retreat after finding it in the RCI network. We originally booked a studio, but after inquiry decided to upgrade to one of the villas that had a swimming pool. We stayed in Hibisbus 6A and had an absolute fabulous 7 night holiday, striking up a comfortable friendship with the owners of the...

We stayed here last year and have returned as we had such a pleasant and relaxing time. This time we brought my daughter and her friend. It was a bit like coming home. The staff are genuinely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the studio apartments. They are quite spacious with the benefit of a cooking...

We've stayed at Medewi Bay Retreat twice and it is a great place to relax and absorb Bali. It is away from the "t-shirts, sunglasses and watches" of Kuta and delivers stylish, comfortable accommodation in a relaxed and informal setting. You can relax around one of the best pools, have a massage, a delightful meal or a refreshing drink. Tours...

We divided our 15 day (yes! 15 whole days) honeymoon into two halves and decided to go easy on the money in the beginning, so we could splurge all we could towards the end. We came across the Medewi Bay Retreat via RCI and happily booked our first week with them. Although our second half was planned at a fancier,...

Our response: Glad to hear that Andrew and his beautiful wife had a great time at Medewi Bay Retreat. As the resort no longer sells ‘time share‘ I did a little checking and found out that they actually purchased a new product called the ‘Flexi Holiday Plan’. This gives the buyer an advanced purchase discount on accommodation and can be...

Medewi Bay retreat really is an escape from the noise and mayhem offered in Kuta or other resorts close to Denpasar. Beautifully landscaped and tranquil setting, delightful, friendly helpful staff. We spent 2 weeks there this August and really loved the place. Already planning our next visit. Menu is great, especially the Balinese and Indonesian food. Wine is expensive, but...

My daughter and I had 7 days here and was very relaxing. Excellent staff, varied menu, alcohol is expensive compared to Australia, but you can take 1lt in duty free. We were upgraded to Hibiscus 9 which was huge, very basic kitchen but I only made cups of tea. Who wants to cook when on holiday? Next time I would...

We spent 7 nights at this resort and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, although our 1 bedroom apartment (Rose 2) needed renovation. The TV was an old tube version and was virtually unviewable, which wasn't so bad as there was nothing to watch on it except Indonesian TV anyway! There was Australia Channel at the bar, so able to watch the...
