I had an unbelievable amazing experience at this hotel! First off it's about 30 min away from Ubud but they have a free shuttle bus to town. To enter the hotel you drive through a rice paddie! All of the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and out of this world! I was so impressed with everything they...

Stayed here 1 night for my girlfriends birthday and was impressed right from the word go. The surroundings and setting are stunning, a monkey greeted us trotting across the long road to the hotel and accompanied us in the nearby trees when eating dinner which was pretty special. The pool is beautiful and the largest we came across in Bali....

One of the most relaxing experiences we've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Accommodation is simple but beautifully done. The food is delicious - make sure you try lots of things from the a la carte breakfast menu as they are served as taster portions. The pool/spa area is gorgeous, as is the surrounding countryside (we would recommend taking an...

In October 2014 my husband and I were lucky enough to be married at the Alila Ubud. The whole Celebration was organised by the resort's event manager Manik. The day was the most professionally organised and relaxing day and completely out did our expectations. We are so thankful to all the happy staff, with special mentions ("Manik" & "Widi") for...

Arrived in the dark, woke up to beautiful views of the rainforest, staff very pleasant and infinity pool nice and quiet. At about 4pm Monkeys turn up around the pool. Can recommend the transfer tour to the Alila Mangiss as the driver is pleasant and knowledgeable about the area, plus stops of at another hotel for lunch with views over...

While I've stayed at better Alila properties, I have to give the hotel credit for: the pool, the views, and the private day tours they operate. Specifically, did a bike tour and our guide was amazing - worth the price to book through Alila vs. major tour operator. (This is the 2nd time I've done a tour with Alila and...

My husband and I recently returned from our honeymoon in Bali and we spent our first 4 nights in Alila Ubud. We stayed in a private villa with our own swimming pool. The settling of this resort is absolutely breathtaking. As you drive in you are surrounded by rice fields and wildlife. The grounds are lush and green with beautiful...

We stayed in Alila Ubud from Sept 20th till Sept 23rd, one word spectacular!!! Hotel is a bit remotely located between the ricefields and the forest. It is built on different levels, so a bit of walking is need, but it helps to burn of some of the caloreis you "tank" during breakfast and dinner.... Rooms are great( we had...
