My friend and I are not the type to stay at fancy hotels when exploring a new country but this place captivated us! We were only scheduled to stay here for one night and ended up adding 4 additional days. Once those were up we decided to extend once again until the end of our trip!! Thank you so much...

The resort is located in a rain forest and spread over a large area. We stayed in Lakshmana Wing of the resort overlooking infinity pool below. Rooms are well equipped and with nice view of the forest from the balcony. Staff is courteous and polite. Service is also good. Food was excellent. Evening tea with snacks is an added attraction.

This was our first trip to Bali and we had an amazing time. The Ayung Resort & Spa is in such a beautiful location, nestled in lush forest with the river flooding by at the bottom of the valley. All of the staff were super friendly, always attentive and so helpful. Our son was always fondly welcomed by all and...

We stayed as a couple last month and were very impressed with the resort. Maybe a little along the older style of resort but very clean and everything worked. It was low season so there was only a few other guests staying there but all amenities were on offer and hours of the restaurant were as normal The food at...

Ayung resort is one of the most romantic and peaceful resorts I've been to. The service from the staff all around was excellent. Couldn't have chosen any place better than Ayung. Filled with nature, the resort lies inside a rain forest with breath taking views and serenity. I will visit here as often as I can. This place is just...

The Ayung Resort Ubud, which is located outside Ubud in Payangan, was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for something that is within walking distance to Ubud, this resort is not for you. If, however, you are looking for a spectacular location; excellent accommodations that range from lovely, large hotel rooms to gorgeous, traditional villas with private pools; "Balinese hospitality"...

Fantastically located. Breathtaking view. Beautiful, comfortable villas. Purely. The breakfast was very good. Always helpful and friendly staff. Tranquility and relaxation. If I get back to Ubud, is absolutely the only resort.

Very friendly staff, resort is great and food is yummy. Only negative is the commute from town. However if you are looking for a place to relax and get away from everything and get closer to nature, this is the place to be.

The Ayung Resort is a breathtaking, mystique and unique lifestyle hotel, perched high up on the bank of a mostly untouched tropical mountain rainforest gorge, in the traditional Balinese village of Payangan Ubud, surrounded by the gentle, spiritual tranquility and pace of Balinese life. Along this serene 8 hectares rain forest domain runs The Ayung, Bali’s most sacred mountain river. In the rocks of the hotels pathways and along it’s 600 meters long riverbank fronting the Ayung Resort, 250 of the finest Balinese Stone Carvers have painstakingly worked, for over a 2 year period,to carve the spectacular Hindu mythologies, Ramayana and Mahabharata amongst others.
