Couldn’t say nicer things about this hotel! It was one of the most beautiful resorts we have ever stayed in from the hotel rooms and restaurant to the view. Our rooms were absolutely perfect and the food was always spot on. We had a free shuttle into Ubud each day which made it so much easier to see the sights and had a taxi service outside of the shuttle times. We did the free yoga which was lots of fun with a beautiful view and loved the dancers as entertainment. What made this stay so perfect was every single member of staff from reception, to restaurant and even maintenance workers. They were all friendly and truly cared about each person staying there. When I felt unwell they offered me food and drink to help me and offered to pay for a doctor to come and check on me. We stayed for 2 weeks and they showed their appreciation with meal vouchers and even gave us an amazing room upgrade. Our shuttle driver Tiwan was amazing telling us information about Bali and their culture and was comfortable answering all our questions. I wish I could write something about each member of staff because they were all perfect. Even if the hotel was disappointing the staff are enough to keep you wanting to come back, I really hope we can return to Nandini soon❤️…
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in March. Everybody at the resort was incredibly friendly and helpful - they could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. The service from all staff was exemplary and really made us feel like we were staying with friends. Other highlights included wonderful food, a massage in the spa overlooking the jungle where we saw monkeys and daily yoga in a small group overlooking beautiful rice fields. We were sorry to leave having thoroughly relaxed in the beautiful surroundings
This resort is not only a hidden gem for its accommodation, but their breakfast is something will make you remember for their special Mezze selection ❤️.. while their service it’s true Balinese culture with genuine friendliness … nothing to much but they have the 5 star service in heart …
Our stay has been a blast, located around 30 min for the center of Ubud, we felt positively secluded for a weekend. This staycation has been extremely relaxing, surrounded by a lush nature, and assisted by lovely staff, they were absolutely on top of everything, they were one of the highlights of our stay. Simply excellent!
A beautiful resort set in the jungle. Room spectacular and in great condition, very private. Restaurant is top notch definitely Australian prices but exceptional service with good food. This is a small and very friendly resort. Free filtered water everywhere which is a huge bonus in the hot weather. We did the cooking class with chef Yanek which was interactive and fun but we didn't do the garden tour which was disappointing. Chef was also kind enough to share their delicious pumpkin bread recipe. We didn't want to leave as very relaxing and kind staff. If you can't do stairs don't book. Perfect speedy way to destress and kick off your holiday.
Very pretty resort with friendly staff. The food and drinks are very good but a bit on the expensive side. We had a few inclusions like lunch, dinner and cocktails but limited to different menus. We did the cooking class which was extremely disappointing. Not interactive at all - all we did was watch, everything preprepared and even the food was sent to the kitchen for cooking. No visit to the veg garden and no executive chef as stated in the package. More like a cooking demonstation than a cooking class. Don’t waste your time or money.
Myself and wife went here on our honeymoon and the first word was WOW the location is set in the Jungle this is an ideal place for a honeymoon or relaxing holiday. The room was large very clean with a balcony view of the jungle and the resort was impressive as it is well equipped has great food, spa, also with a great bar, the staff were the most friendly people we have ever met and will kindly go out of there way to make sure your stay is perfect. The resort has a lift that takes you from the restaurant to the spa at the bottom that is really useful when going back up. Transport to Ubud can be arranged with reception it usually takes 1 hour to the markets and shops, also there a few local village shops that are in walking distance if you want to explore. The taxi takes around 2 hours to get you to the large shopping centre but its pretty much a straight road there with sights on the way and its quite a pleasant journey. Would recommend and will return in the future Happy New Year to the staff here from Chris & Amrin 🙏…
Just returned after a 8 day night stay. At first when arrived, didn’t know what to expect as I have been to Bali many times but never in a Jungle! Took few days to settle in but wow what a magical place. Waking up to the sound of the jungle and beautiful sunrise was exceptional. If you love nature, then this is the place for you. The STAFF are wonderful, they will bend backwards just to make your stay even better. Nothing is too hard for them… There is a shuttle bus that leaves at 10.00am and again at 2.00pm and return 3.00pm which is really great. The driver is lovely (sorry couldn’t remember his name). First issue (the stairs) before I came to the resort, read reviews about the amount of stairs. It wasn’t an issue for me as I got used to them after a few days but it would be an issue for people who have knee or mobility issues. So word of advice, please consider this when booking. My second issue is there should be a toilet in the pool area. If you need to go, you have to endure stairs to get to the cable car, leaving you at the restaurant area. If people have a villa or suite not close to the pool, then this would be an issue The water fall is also a great sight to see. Unfortunately the area is neglected, the decking needs urgent repairs etc but it was beautiful to see the waterfall. There are around 200 steps to get down so maybe do it first thing in the morning when its not too hot. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Could not fault it in any way, although its a bit pricey but I suppose been so isolated, that’s the way it goes. The rooms are very spacious and love the balcony, just sitting and admiring the jungle and contemplating life.If you don’t mind not doing anything, then this is the place to unwind, relax and do nothing at all which is exactly what I did! The massages and yoga are also great… well worth doing both! Loved my stay here and would not hesitate to come back again very soon… thank you NANDINI for a wonderful relaxing stay…
Just returned from an amazing stay at Nandini. From the moment we arrived we were treated like king and queen. Staff just couldn't do enough for us. This place is absolutely beautiful, will definitely return.
Really great experience. The location is amazing and the team is fantastic. Everyone is so friendly. Waking up to the jungle noises each morning is very special. The complementary sunset yoga was a great touch too.
