We loved our stay up at Sarinbuana. Growing up in the Whitsundays in North Queensland we have always been drawn to flora and fauna and this place doesn't disappoint. From the moment you arrive there are beautiful butterflies fluttering about you and an array of flowering plants you will be seeing for the first time. The wonderful red pagoda was...

The place is beautiful. There is just no other word for it. The location is higher in the mountain, far from the busy Bali beaches but within walking/cycling distance of spectacular rice fields and picturesque Hindu temples. Rooms are not luxurious but spacious and extremely welcoming. The little porch with a sofa was delightful, and we loved the shower with...

Thank you for your very appreciative review. So sorry about the leeches, they only occur in the wet season and we usually use a natural solution to stop this, so I will talk to your guide and see why this wasn't used during your trek. All the best for 2017 and thanks again.

This is one of the most gorgeous places I have ever stayed at. The ethical ethos of the place is both aspirational and inspirational. It would be great to see more accomodation providers learning from their examples in sustainability and community development/support. We took the opportunity to do the temple walk trek, 5 hour rainforest trek, learn how to make...

Thank you for your feedback, Im glad you enjoyed your stay here and appreciated our ethos & garden to table meals. There is a lot of unseen work that goes into: composting, making our own seaweed fertiliser, gathering & growing seeds and of course tending the gardens daily to bring fresh organic produce to the table for AUD$7 - $12...

If sleeping in a tree house perched over the rainforest and swimming in a secluded natural pool at the base of a waterfall is your idea of heaven, grab the chance to visit Sarinbuana. This is an authentic ecolodge with a genuine commitment to improving their community. They also serve incredible meals from locally grown foods (they make their own...

Stayed for 17 nights and had a fantastic time relaxing and eating wonderful food. The staff are lovely and villas are tremendous. I feel a thousand years younger! (One small suggestion- perhaps a hand rail along the front path for we portly Australians after it has been raining heavily :) )

Very different to a lot of holidays I've had - away from tourist areas, very in tune with the local environment. Loved everything. We stayed in the tree house which had amazing views over south Bali. Our teenage kids also enjoyed the experience - especially the walk through the jungle to a local temple.

Sarinbuana Ecolodge is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. Imagine five bungalows on the slopes of Mount Batukaru in a beautiful green lush garden, with lots of privacy. All differ in size and price. I really enjoyed the fresh salads from the vegetable garden, the refreshing swim in the waterhole and the guided tour through...

We stayed at the Treehouse for three nights and enjoyed lovely views of the valley from our veranda. The surroundings were beautiful and there was a lovely natural feel to everything, from the biodegradable soap in the bathroom, to the flower arrangements in the house and the delicious meals prepared with produce from the garden. Do try: the rainforest trek,...
